Sideboard

Maybeboard

U/r wizard brew for FNM this deck wants to be the aggressor game one. post board against control its trying to stick at least one threat to get the opponent down to 12-9 and burn them the rest of the way out against aggro its the incidental burn can be turned on creatures to keep the board clear and let the creatures go all the way.

-----------------------------------------------CREATURES----------------------------------------------------------

Soul-scar - best turn one play

ghitu lavarunner- is decent for a hasty guy you don't really want to play him on turn one

adeliz - best creature in the deck draws with multiple can be awkward and you want to be sure to have a way to protect her before playing her out

soulweaver eternal- really good at pushing through damage and making blocks awkward for opponents but after runing into a lot of ballistas and goblin chainwhirlers I removed some copies

riddleform- dogging sorceries has won a few games as well as being evasive with flying the scy is also helpful when you flood out as the deck doesn't really want more than 4 lands in play

-----------------------------------------------SPELLS-------------------------------------------------------------

opt- best cantrip

shock/lighting strike/wizards lighting- this is a burn deck these are the burn cards

warlord's fury- red cantrip first strike has been better than trample in most situations but this could be replaced or split a slot with crash through

blink of an eye- main deck way of dealing with pesky blockers, seal away, planswalkers, angels after they have hit the battlefield. most games you only need to draw one so only running 2 in the main board

spell pierce- main deck way of answering things like settle and fumigate

insult/injury- can steal games out of nowhere

-----------------------------------------------SIDE BOARD---------------------------------------------------------

abrade- for the BR deck and another answer to the angel

fight with fire- another answer to big cards can use mana if you get really flooded

kari sev's expertise- to get the biggest blocker out of the wat

blink of an eye #3- for white decks

goblin chainwhirler- for the monoG and mirror and any deck that runs a lot of 1 toughness creatures

merfolck trickster- can be a really good surprise against creature heavy decks but the UU can be hard

negate/spell pierce/admiral's order- more interaction for control match ups

-----------------------------------------------MAYBE BOARD--------------------------------------------------------

Maybe board is cards that i have tested that have under preformed

champion is way to slow

there aren't enough decks running relevant spells for dire fleet

jace is too slow

metallic mimic was better in the version of the deck that was running more creatures but this one doesn't have the right number for it to work

naban didnt do enough

naru comes down to late

reduce cost to much at 3cmc

siren is to U hungry spell pierce dose the same job but hits more

unsummon doesn't hit seal away the angel or random planswalkers like blink does

wizard's retort is often to hard to cast on time for UU.
