Sorcery

Tap up to three creatures that each share a creature type. Create an X/X Avatar that also has the shared subtype creature token that's all colors among those creatures, with X being their total highest power and toughness combined. If any one of those creatures has first strike, the Avatar has first strike. The same is true for flying, deathtouch, double strike, hexproof, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, skulk, trample, vigilance and ward. In addition, it gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step.

Suppose you have 5/5 Animar, Soul of Elements, an Arboretum Elemental and a 1/6 Primal Plasma. What happens?

The highest power among them all is Arboretum Elemental as a 7/5. The highest toughness is Primal Plasma as a 1/6. So, 7+6 is 11, so you have an 13/13 Avatar Elemental.

Next, thanks to Animar, Soul of Elements, it's Temur in color.

It'll also have:

• Haste, as a given
• Protection from white and black
• Hexproof

So you have an 13/13 with haste that can't be targeted and also can't be blocked by your opponent who is playing Athreos, God of Passage Clerics.

CUTS:

Inferno Elemental - This is just, meh. It's an ok creature but isn't too useful compared to your other cards. Master of Waves - Great card, wrong deck. This card is great for a mono-blue deck, this is terrible for a multicolored deck. Maze Sentinel, Maze Rusher, Maze Glider, Maze Behemoth, Maze Abomination - Even though this is a multicolored deck, not enough of your creatures are multicolored for these to work well. Orchard Elemental - This will always be a six mana four four. The lifegain is not enough to make up for this small size. Primal Plasma - All three of these forms are way too small for four mana. Sunflare Shaman - This is a slow way to deal 4ish damage to a creature or player. Not too good. Yarok, the Desecrated - I don't think you have enough ETB effects for this to work good enough. Guardian of Vitu-Ghazi - This is a mediocre sized creature for the mana cost even with convoke and paying WUBRG to reanimate it is also a pretty bad cost. Cosi's Ravager - This card just does too little, especially for four mana. Ceaseless Searblades - Same as above, there aren't too many activated abilities so best case you'll get a four four for four that you need to activate two abilities for. Not too good.

Hi, I'm creating a mill deck and I'm having trouble narrowing down the cards I want to use. I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me narrow down my cards to 60, or tell me if it would be more advantageous to have a deck with 60+ cards in this situation. Any cards I originally had in my deck, but removed are in my Maybeboard just in case. Feel free to post any suggestions or critiques- thanks!

The strategy of this deck is relatively simple- use Doorkeeper with defenders to mill cards and stall against creatures while using spells to mill additional cards. Draw cards and punish the opponent with Sphinx's Tutelage Use Drift of Phantasms to search for any of my spells if necessary (practically all of the enchantments use 3 mana). If I don't need these enchantments, use Drift of Phantasms to defend + contribute to Doorkeeper's mill.
