I think Magmaroth is a bit too slow for this deck. I'd recommend either a number of Spark Elemental and/or Hell's Thunder.

One thing I definitely would include is four copies of Ramunap Ruins. It's basically an upgraded Mountain that can help you finish a game when just a little bit is needed to cross the finish line.

The Scorpion God would be good, your land count is too low. Add at least 2 more, Canyon Slough if possible. Claim / Fame isn't doing much in your deck, neither is Dire Fleet Hoarder. Replace those with Splendid Agony and Blur of Blades. Festering Mummy, Banewhip Punisher and Magmaroth are all good creatures.

Would cut Magmaroth and Manticore of the Gauntlet for Dynavolt Tower and consider running 2x in main Scavenger Grounds. Could potentially go creatureless and really upset your opponent with dead removal in hand.

The mono red aggro will beat you consistently. Too fast and you would have to run Magma Spray Fatal Push and Essence Scatter at minimum in playsets to slow it down. Do you play at fnm? Your sideboard is determined by your meta(the decks being played at your local game store lgs) and what your deck lacks to beat them. Your deck may have trouble with mardu vehicles and golgari counters as well since they are very fast. Grixis usually runs control and you have some of the necessary pieces but not enough. You should probably use Never / Return as a sideboard piece. Given the high number of instants/sorceries you are playing you may want to drop Spellweaver Eternal for Enigma Drake since it has the potential to hit harder and survives Abrade and a host of other threats. Drop a mountain, 24 is plenty of lands. I think come down 2 copies on Neheb, the Eternal he is legendary and a 5 drop, I am sure 2 would be good enough. In it's place another pair of Ammit Eternal might be good or Magmaroth. Reduce / Rubble is pretty strong too.

First thing I notice, is cards you put in because they are powerful, but don't work in this current build.Example,Archfiend of Ifnir and Ruthless Sniper.-you have nearly 0 cycling cards, or effects that make you discard a number of cards.Also, you're running Consuming Fervor, which I am A-ok with, but we need some creatures that would abuse this card the most. Ammit Eternal is agreat choice, but if we want to run cards like that, why not run MagmarothNow we have a free -1/-1 counter trigger that we can take full advantage of. With cards like Obelisk Spider Now we can just sit back and watch their life totals slowly drain away, and we haven't done anything but move through our turn. Now, whenever we cast "non-creature" spells, we get to lift counters off of this 4 drop 5/5, making Consuming Fervor have even less of a downside.Since we are running these red cards, we can get away with some other red cards. Soul-Scar Mage, and one of my favorite interactions are cards like Prey Upon wich will now place -1/-1 counters equal to the power of your creature if Soul-Scar is in play, also he becomes a 2/3 due to prowess before trading blows. You could get greedy with Nature's Way that trample will help Ammit Eternal immensely, or give Magmaroth the trample it's lacking..

As far as must-have black cards..If you've followed where I'm going with this, you wont need much black, at least not BB or BBB in the costs.We can abuse card like Nest of Scarabs a hard to remove enchantment that just delivers so many 1/1's going super-wide super fast. And Banewhip Punisher could easily kill a weakened creature then be a removal for a bigger one, or be the clutch to killing a big creature right away. but for 2B a 2/2 body that can help curve out a no-fuss removal option, seems like alot of fun. If only we could bring it back easily.

Magmaroth is also pretty useful as a counter collector

i run a few Blazing Volley main because of soul scar mage and that gives a lot of tokens. and its good main board hate vs monument decks
