Esper Creatureless Control

Modern* Control Tempo WUB (Esper)

My attempt at getting as close to a "draw-go" style deck as modern can get. Wanted to do Creatureless control and see if it can work. Basic strategy is to counter and use removal through the first few turns to keep the board empty, then start attacking their hand with discards to get to where you only have to deal with their top deck. Running Isochron Sceptor as a great card advantage generator, can be consistent bounce and draw if imprinted with remand, or consistent removal with path, or great at generating value with rune snag once you get a few into your graveyard. Running black mail instead of inquisition of kozilek since I don't plan on attacking the hand until they've thinned it out by dropping lands and counters- so in this deck it should be a pretty universal targeted discard. Running Lili Vess and Jace as both offer a wincon (mill for Jace, vess' ult) and combo together well. Semi budget build which is why I'm running Vess instead LotV. Mana base is the only pricey part in the actual deck, almost all the cost is in sideboard and maybe board cards
