Confused by this card. The Viashino are on old tribe with Dash and Haste. They like to return to hand! Eating your own kind/strategy seems counterproductive. On top of that it's an artificer which implies artifacts and here we have yet another Izzet legend slinging instants and sorceries. Whatever WOTC has been smoking the past few years they need to start sharing with the rest of us.

DreadKhan since you made me aware of Scavenged Brawler it's my turn to make you aware of Qarsi Revenant. They relentlessly release stuff now it's impossible to keep up with. I think in a vacuum Brawler is better because commander damage and the vigilance/trample PB&J but Revenant makes First Strike very scary and is half the cost.

Sometimes I wish it was "iSufferFromEDHD" but we all collectively suffer from it anyway.

What's so stupid and short sighted is not treating these products as speciality side projects and allowing all this stuff to disrupt the original formula that made this game healthy, strong and great: 1 core set, 1 base set + 2 secondary. They could sell all this specialty goofy shit in-between.

Yu-Gi-Oh-ification of MTG is complete. I haven't been paying attention to what's being released and it's even stranger than it was when we last chatted. Final Fantasy is goofy. Who is buying this garbage? We need Oasis! (Mirage revisited) with how fast and power creeped MTG is now maybe Fallen Empires/Homelands 2.0 is what's necessary to save this game from itself.
