Phelddagrif win cons?

Phelddagrif and wondering if there's a good way for win cons in group hugs.

Infinite mana + Blue Sun's Zenith/Stroke of Genius is generally my favorite group-hug win. Prosperity works too, as does Skyscribing. Anything having to do with mass card draw, really, is pretty much standard for Phelddagrif.

This can be fun! Might be hard to fit the black enchantments; cheat in with Replenish

Green ability - Suture PriestWhite ability - First pop in my mind is Tainted Remedy.Blue ability - Underworld Dreams

Illusionist's Bracers helps speed it up.

In most group hug decks you typically aren't worrying about win cons, since you should pretty much expect to come in 2nd place most of the time.

That being said, there are a few strategies you can go with if you are hoping to steal first place every now and again.

1) Beat down - A large number of group hug compatible creatures often come with large bodies and low costs in exchange for their drawbacks. It's actually kind of funny how often people forget that the group hug player that has been sitting back the whole game actually has 15 power worth of fliers sitting on their side of the board.

2) Draw out - Group hug decks often play effects that allow other players to draw a bunch of cards. As the game goes long and the other players' libraries start to dwindle, and well timed Forced Fruition or Skyscribing may let you win the game. Another option is to wait, drop a Laboratory Maniac, and then draw yourself out with a large Blue Sun's Zenith.

3) Clone or steal the good stuff that your opponent's cast. Using Reins of Power to steal the army was planning to crush you with, then taking them out with their own creatures is always worth a chuckle.

4) Combo - Bant colours have all sorts of combos you can use. Putting a bounce sub-theme in your deck and running Deadeye Navigator combos is a viable win con. The Mindslaver + Academy Ruins combo is a possible way for you to get a stalled out game moving again or just win if there is only one other player left.

Anyway, there are lots of options for win cons if you want them.

Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron (or Peregrine Drake) for infinite mana. You have plenty of options after that, including Helix Pinnacle or the cards mentioned above.

A flash enabler (Leyline of Anticipation, Alchemist's Refuge, etc) plus Tooth and Nail just before your turn, and you're good to go.

If you want to be safe, counterspells or Piracy should help you pull it off.

Elvish Mystic or any 1g mana dork + Phelddagrif + Intruder Alarm + Reins of Power

Intruder Alarm makes it so creatures untap only when a creature enters the battlefield. You can tap elvish mystic for a green, give Phelddagrif trample and an opponent a 1/1 hippo. This hippo untaps your elf (and any other many producers if you want to go for infinite mana) allowing you to tap again to make another elf untapping hippo. You can provide infinite hippos for any opponent. If you have Propaganda or one similar just give one opponent too many hippos but ideally Reins of Power can then swap creatures providing you with an exceedingly large number of hasty hippos.

Might of Oaks/Strength of Cedars works wonders when you and everyone else has tons of lands, Vow of Duty, Vow of Flight and Vow of Wildness can make the griff fairly big, Walking Archive/Blue Sun's Zenith/Skyscribing/Prosperity/Minds Aglow + lots of mana will mill everyone (with cards like Elixir of Immortality to prevent you from losing), and Jushi Apprentice is also a great win con, although people will see that one coming so keep that in mind

Solitary Confinement, Peacekeeper, Dawnstrider and Delaying Shield all prevent opponents from killing you, allowing you to attack for the win

poorpinkus I took your deck and kinda used it as a starting block for the one I'm building, I replaced a couple things and will do more of that in the future, but I loved a lot of your build already
