Extra turns is a niche deck, but usually a very consistent one once it can go off. This deck basically tries to survive and set up its howling mine effects to draw multiple cards per turn until it can start to take extra turns. The red splash is effective for many reasons, it allows to deal with most threats in the early turns and helps to burn down the enemy life points while going off. The addition of Burn spells also helps alot against Planeswalker, which there are too many disgusting ones.
