Unbound Dredge

Sneaky deck right here.

Many decks in modern focus on doing one thing very well. Dredge is probably the deck that best utilizes the graveyard as it is able to dump the library into it very very quickly. However, we all know this makes it susceptible to cards like Rest in Peace, Relic of Progenitus, Nihil Spellbomb, Leyline of the Void etc. This deck is an attempt to take a cross section of 2 decks with a few cards that can fit in both to give us a fighting chance once those hate cards come in. I give you a dredge deck Unbound from the graveyard.

This deck is a combination of U/B mill and dredge. It does both decks admirably and is capable of hoodwinking your opponent post-board by getting them to board in graveyard hate cards which are effectively dead thanks to the sideboard. The deck has near one to one ratio of dredge to mill cards allowing a near complete transformation from dredge to mill.

The name Unbound Dredge comes from the namesake card, Ideas Unbound. This card functions similarly to faithless looting in the normal dredge build but also allows us to actually use some of the cards we draw late game making this a potentially lethal top deck when we board in our mill package.

Post board: -4 Prized Amalgam -4 Narcomoeba -3 Creeping Chill -4 Bloodghast

Then just slam the entire sideboard in and turn your mill cards on them. You'll notice the singular snapcaster mage in there. You can use your golgari thugs to get him back and run that loop in a late game grind fest.(does not work well with orbs :( ) Surgical may also be left in the board for more Stinkys. Sometimes its nice to just have and endless tide of deathtouch blockers. Can leave the imps in and opt to board out thugs as well.

If you end up with any of your leftover dredgers in hand and you dont want them, just dump them to collective brutality or Ideas Unbound. The 1 of field of ruin has proved its worth time and time again, by both giving me an extra land and turning on 1 or more archive traps.

Still learning this brew as it is tricky to play correctly. Any input on how to improve this list would be most welcome.
