I like a lot of abzan cards and when I saw Kethis I knew I wanted to use him somehow in a deck. I like sac'ing for value and +1/+1 counters in abzan and playing things from the graveyard. Since I didn't want to do the normal Kethis combo of decking one's self to win I knew I'd be using his ability primarily for gaining value throughout the game by replaying threats overtime or using the yard like a second hand (or hidden one :P). Having the threat of Urza's Ruinous Blast being a repeatable play from the graveyard is very annoying for decks that aren't trying to beat you with legendaries. I had MANY iterations of this deck and I think I'm pretty happy with it now. I didn't have blue at first but Emry being legendary and also milling 4 is what put it over satyr wayfinder for me, karakas also alows me to replay her. There are a lot of cool interactions with the deck and I'm constantly finding new ones as I mess with Saffi's and Kethis's ability. One I like with a slow start is with an Ozolith, a Reyhan, and a Karakas, bouncing the Reyhan every turn to put her counters on Ozolith and making her get the counters for every bounce. Also Varloz scavenges Traxos 7 +1/+1s for 4 mana, pretty good deal. Like I said I've changed this deck MANY times now and I wouldn't be surprised if I found new ways to improve it.
