Maybeboard

Old lifeloss deck I've toyed with over the years. Thought I was being original with Death's Shadow and Spoils of the Vault, but later found other decks doing similar things. Ditched the esper build and added cards like Plunge into Darkness that were being used to great effect.

Rule change several years ago prevents Death's Shadow from getting bigger than 13/13 with negative life sadly, but Shadow of Mortality provides another decent low cmc threat and reduces the glass cannon-ness of this deck.

Drain our life with Immolating Souleater (another potential threat), Spellskite (which targets most things), and tutors Spoils of the Vault/Plunge into Darkness. Swing with big Death's Shadow/Shadow of Mortality, or cast Rite of Consumption.

Protect ourselves (or evade) with Faith's Shield, Emerge Unscathed (rebound), and Angel's Grace (allowing negative life totals from deep dives with Spoils of the Vault).

Typical SB stuff fitting the lifeloss flavour. Adjust discard vs removal to taste. Leyline of Sanctity for matchups against burn, etc. Maybeboard of ideas I've tried or may still tinker with. Children of Korlis has interesting synergy in this deck.

Sold most my collection recently because I'm not into the direction MTG is going. Been having a blast with obvious proxies instead.
