Remember, like, eight years ago when I made a million decks around Sun Titan? Yeah? Let's do that again.

As a big, reliable, value-generating finisher who can also even cheat out "cheap" creatures by bypassing any additional costs, Sun Titan is a perennial favourite in these here parts. It's occurred to me that he can bring back the two-mana Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, taking a jab at your opponent's hand and life total before dropping right back into the graveyard... ready for Sun Titan to bring him back for another round!

Okay, cool. And hey, they're both giants! Do I smell some giant tribal brewing? Run Sunrise Sovereign to pump them both up? Maybe Stinkdrinker Daredevil to make Sun Titan and Kroxa... well... just Sun Titan cheaper? Hmmm, no, that's probably going to be slow and awful. Okay, so the fact they're both giants is only coincidence, but we can still work with that.

It would be nice to play Kroxa so he can conveniently plant himself in the graveyard, so we've got our colours. Having access to black and red makes it easy to stuff things in our graveyard for the Titan to recur: Faithless Looting is cheap and can still work even if you discard it, and Stitcher's Supplier can do the same and even be recurred by Sun Titan. The other thing that excites me is the possibility of getting Haste on Sun Titan: he can recur Kroxa twice in the same turn if he attacks as soon as he shows up, putting serious pressure on your opponent! Anger is the perfect candidate, requiring no mana and letting you pitch it with impunity.

Of course, if you happen to mill Sun Titan, it would be nice to get it back easily. Necromancy can bring back Sun Titan, and it just so happens Sun Titan can bring back Necromancy - hey, that's convenient. You can get Titans recurring other Titans this way, but don't forget that Necromancy can recur your opponent's stuff, too, if he happens to lose something juicy! Flesh Carver gives you a proactive way to pitch your creatures for reanimation, becoming a formidable threat in his own right, and can also be brought back by Sun Titan. If you have the mana, you might as well feed your doomed Kroxa to him every time!

Of course, if your graveyard gets full enough, you could always just pay Kroxa's escape cost and keep him around for good - don't forget Sun Titan can recur fetch lands to help you fill those stiff colour requirements. Mire Triton helps counteract your fetch- and shocklands while simultaneously digging for more cards in your graveyard, and Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury is a fellow giant that likewise helps you gain life while removing threats on your opponent's side of the board. Another one? Hmmm, maybe there was something to that giant tribal stuff after all...
