Tokens. Dearhtouch. Annihilation.
This deck originally came from an old idea when I first started playing. I fell in love with the concept of eldrazi and Ulamog. Recently I came across Shelob, Child of Ungoliant and the ability intrigued me. While trying to figure out a way to use Shelob, I realized with Arcane Adaptation you can make your creatures whatever you want, and by naming spider you effectively give all your creatures Shelob's effect. And thus this monster was born.
Ramp early with tokens and Twitching Doll, get Arcane Adaptation out, name spider, then ramp into Shelob. Propagator Drone gives your tokens evolve, so it helps with deathtouch triggers and the spawn tokens that usually start out as 0/1. Parallel Lives and Panharmonicon increase token generation and triggers.
If your opponents are still standing, we've got a few different options for finishers. Firstly, the heavy hitters: Pathrazer of Ulamog and Spawnsire of Ulamog. They big, they annihilate and Spawnsire makes tokens for redundancy, but also can be tapped into for sideboard eldrazi with his other effect. Its a "win more" button if someone tries to resist losing like an anime character.
There is also the secondary effect in Twitching doll which creates a bunch of tokens based on usage, so you can make even more tokens that are naturally spiders, so if Arcane Adaptation gets removed, you still have an outlet. And then we get to Idol of False Gods, which is pretty straightforward. Early tokens, gets a +1/+1 counter every time you use a token ability for mana (sacrifice trigger), then at 8+ counters becomes a creature with anihilator. Plus, it doubles as a sacrifice outlet in response to board wipes, ensuring your tokens don’t die in vain.
There is a developing sideboard plan to effectively change the way the deck wins, but keeps the token generation foundation. It'll be based on Zulaport Cutthroat and sacrifice triggers for value, basically leaning into the Idol of False Gods strategy.
