The deck is based around the interaction between Life from the Loam and Molten vortex (new origins card)/ Seismic Assault which provides the deck with an unending supply of shocks and an inevitable lategame. Many cards in the deck and sideboard can be cast from the graveyard including lingering souls, darkblast and ancient grudge.A creatureless version of the deck invalidates our opponents removal while targeted hand disruption can provide answers for problematic cards.
