Sideboard

Newer version of my homebrew Naya build.

This build is more a meta dependent style, but it follows generally the same role as the Modern archetype. Cheap, beefy creatures with a few large finishers, mixed with some removal and utility creatures.

This is the alternative to Naya Control for people who want to play a stable Midrange deck that actively counters an aggressive Aggro/Blitz meta, and which can also face most Midrange decks on even ground.

Though Big Naya is intended to counteract aggressive/midrange decks, it also has strong potential against Control dependent on the draws, with the ability to constantly refill its hand with card advantage from Domri Rade and Ajani, as well as having access to possibly the best card in standard, Elspeth, who can take over games on her own.

Best Matchups: Mono Red/Blue/Black Aggro, Mono Blue/Red Devotion, Hexproof/Voltron

Medium/Even Matchups: Jund Midrange, R/G & Jund Monsters, U/W, USA, & Esper Control, Mono Black Devotion

Worst Matchups: Walkers, BUG Control

I will post semi- regular updates on changes I make to the deck while testing.

Updates Add

Unfortunately, while this has been by far and away my most fun build to play to date in this Standard season, due to expected meta shifts I'll be discontinuing this Naya deck, and moving on to a new one.

You can find the new build here: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/keen-naya/

I plan on updating this new one just as often once I get a chance to play it, but, this is the end of Big Naya for this Standard season.
