This deck can be pretty easily upgraded, especially on the manabase side, which is what I plan to do myself in the future. Still on the list: Swap the numbers of Birds and Pilgrims, replace the Pilgrims with Noble Hierarchs. Hopefully they'll be reprinted in MM2015, and the days of a $60 mana dork existing in Magic will be over.

If there's a threat, you probably have an answer to it somewhere.

I've been wanting to take out the Emissaries for a while now; I've been consistently hitting 7-8 mana fairly early. The deck tends to run well on 4-5, even 6, and has a ton of dorks. There's absolutely no need for me to run that much ramp, and Voice is a fantastic creature that leaves what is often a 4/4 or better token when it dies or is podded away. I might consider adding more later, but I have enough one-drops that I can consistently hit this at least turn 3 with a pod.
