Shoulder to Shoulder Discussion

Inuyashaninja on Feather's Cantrip Time

Mythmastermagic, proliferate doesn't target, choose and target are considered different terms and not interchangeable. Because of that, proliferate doesn't work with Feather. Gird for Battle was in earlier built and I might make room for it at some point since it can be rather useful. I feel Shoulder to Shoulder is too high cmc, I'm trying to keep instants and sorceries below 3 cmc if possible unless the effect is just too good to pass up.

You are missing a removal card that is ridiculous with Feather. Wanderer's Strike is a perfect opportunity to destroy the opponents board state. Proliferate can target creatures with counters, making it return to your hand. Add in a few cantrips like Gird for Battle and Shoulder to Shoulder and you are good.

Shelter and Valorous Stance are pretty good additions to this deck. Emerge Unscathed is also pretty decent. You might like Shoulder to Shoulder as well.

I hope these help!

Thanks lagotripha - the Shoulder to Shoulder spot might work too. I'll give it a try.

Angel_Zero: Thanks for the very helpful suggestions! Shoulder to Shoulder is clearly superior to Dauntless Onslaught, especially with the extra card draw. I'll make that change right away. I'll playtest Cauldron Haze too and see how it works.

what about Cauldron Haze? it can protect some of your guys and can also trigger any number of their heroic triggers. also Shoulder to Shoulder might be worth trying too.

This deck is appropriately named and themed. If I may I have a few suggestions. Emeria Shepherd has landfall triggers that may be of use. Living Death may also be of use to this deck. Regna's Sanction and its flavour text highlight the possible affection between the angel and the demon. So does Together Forever . Since they fight Shoulder to Shoulder , you might want to consider playing it. Merciless Eviction is decent removal. Bring Down is something love has done and what these two do together. Akroma's Vengeance is also worthy of consideration.

shinobigarth on if I have two Gleam ...

always link cards Expedition Envoy, Gleam of Authority, Shoulder to Shoulder

all that happens is StS puts 2 counters on up to 2 of your creatures and Gleam gives another +2/+2 to enchanted creature as a result. nothing infinite about it.
