Never seen this combo mentioned, think it's got some sweet commander potential as well, although I have no idea which decks would want to slot this in. It's not too bad really as Monolith is kinda just a better phyrexian arena anyways so the only weird piece is the dino

DragonMaster420, each time you activate the monolith the creature gains another instance of “Whenever this creature is dealt damage, you draw that many cards and lose that much life.” So first time is deal 1 draw 1, second time is deal 1 draw 2, then draw 3, draw 4 and finally draw 5 off the fifth ping which will mean it's up to five instances of that draw trigger. Hopefully that all makes sense!
