Quicksilver Gargantuan

Creature — Shapeshifter

You may have Quicksilver Gargantuan enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield, except it's still 7/7.

A 1/1 Urza, Prince of Kroog is created. The copy effects apply their exceptions as the copy is made. The ability you are using to create the copy is Urza's ability, which specifies that it is a 1/1. The object you are copying actually doesn't even have the Hulking Metamorph ability since it doesn't specify that it keeps that ability.

Even if you use Urza to copy a Hulking Metamorph that didn't copy anything and still has the clone ability, the token you are making is a 1/1 and so when the copy replacement effect takes place it sees that it is a 1/1 and retains that P/T instead of 3/3 or 7/7.

If you use Urza to copy a Quicksilver Gargantuan that you have somehow made into an artifact; you will have the choice of a 1/1 Quicksilver Gargantuan or a 7/7 that is a copy of something on the battlefield since the clone ability on Quicksilver Gargantuan specifies 7/7 and doesn't reference its own P/T.

Rite of Replication maybe? Quicksilver Gargantuan

You have a bunch of Legendary creatures so maybe Spark Double, Helm of the Host or wasn't there an old artifact that let you ignore the Legendary rule?

Cloning the Master Biomancer makes a stupid amount of counters. Good call.

Possibly Traumatize, Fleet Swallower or Nemesis of Reason

It is not a copyable ability, as it is being granted by the equipment. Likewise, clone cards don't copy abilities granted through Auras.

As a rule of thumb, clones only copy what is written on the card of the permanent that they are copying, unless that permanent entered the battlefield with altered characteristics. IE a Sakashima's Protege copying a face-down card from Yedora, Grave Gardener will result in a Sakashima's Protege Forest, and a clone that enters the battlefield as a copy of a Quicksilver Gargantuan that in turn is a copy of a... Wood Elves will also enter as a 7/7 Wood Elves.

Someone will likely explain better and quote the appropriate rulings, but there it is if you wanted the quick & dirty version.

Other clones maybe. Quicksilver Gargantuan is a clone and counts as a huge vial to smash.

I would consider some more token copy spells and throw in Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer . The chance to have a DOZEN Vial smashers is pretty funny.

Mirror Gallery would lend some redundancy but its kinda pricey now.

I have a Grizzly Bear on the battlefield. I activate Soul Separator targetting Quicksilver Gargantuan , getting a 7/7 Black Zombie and having the other token copy the bear. What are the characteristics of the token?

Use double-square brackets around a card's name to create a pop-up. It's the best way to make sure everyone understands what's going on in your question: Spark Double , Helm of the Host

It copies the same card as the original. When you make a copy of something, you also take into account whether that thing is a copy of something else. For example: if Spark Double is currently a copy of Bear Cub then any copies of that creature will also be a Bear Cub (with no +1/+1 counters), if Quicksilver Gargantuan is a copy of Glory Seeker then any copies of that creature will also be a 7/7 Glory Seeker, etc.
