Mossborn Hydra
Creature — Elemental Hydra
Trample (This creature can deal excess combat damage to the player, planeswalker or battle this is attacking if lethal combat damage would be dealt to all blocking creatures.)
This creature enters with a +1/+1 counter.
Landfall — Whenever a land you control enters, double the number of +1/+1 counters on this creature.

Lands: Take Simic Guildgate and Woodland Stream out. Any land that enters tapped without benefit is below par. Yavimaya Coast you can leave in for a budget add. Its personally not a card I like but this commander does offset its self-ping well.
-
Remove: Hermit Druid and Elvish Reclaimer dont synergize well since you dont focus on graveyard recursion. This isnt a Muldrotha, the Gravetide deck. Though I do see a few more additions to this graveyard sub-theme now...but I feel its moreso to make work Icetill Explorer. Personally, I'd stay away from graveyard stuff since this is Simic and not Sultai. But you could still make it work, though my personal rec is to stay away from that subtheme all together. (An easy) Cut Urban Evolution, I'd want to do more than draw three cards and play an additional land for 5 mana. Tatyova, Benthic Druid has this built in and should be triggering often that you wouldnt need that card.
-
Praise: Mossborn Hydra, Territorial Scythecat, Seedship Agrarian are welcome additions that stack when you play lands, and are even better when MULTIPLE lands a turn are played. Roil Elemental is one of my pet cards and by god is it fun to hit the table and mess with people.
-
Consider: Panharmonicon if you are going to consider ETB creatures for a number of your land drops (think of how Ashaya, Soul of the Wild will pop off!). Add Retreat to Kazandu to amplify when your lands enter on any other creature (switch with Retreat to Coralhelm.
-
Confusion: I'm curious about your Hydras' and 'X' cost creatures and their effectiveness. Not what I would have thought to do with a bunch of mana, but it does set you up where an opponent can counter your big spell and your turn is dead in the water. I'm otherwise not seeing big bombs in your deck. Yes, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger is formidable, and Avenger of Zendikar is a staple in this kind of deck. But how do we make these creatures all unblockable? How do we beef them all up with +1/+1 counters? Or how do we protect and regenerate our creatures from board wipes?
-
Thoughts: You clearly like playing Blue, some counterspells are present and you like to mess with your opponents plays. Theres something to look into here with that mentality. Not sure what it is as I havent found myself on that particular 'counter' path in MTG yet. But worth exploring to make this deck more your own and less how I've built mine.
-
Conclusion: Overall, its a vast improvement from what it was and is certainly faster. I'd focus on getting to either a good combo or having a fordmiable board state. My deck focuses on tempo and bouncing opponents lands back to their hands and giving me advantage that way. You have found a playstyle that works for you and you should keep exploring it.

Thank you SufferFromEDHD, I appreciate it. I was fortunate to pick up a Squandered Resources last January for $14. I hadn't realized how much it spiked in price with the recent EOE precon's popularity. I don't think I have seen Infernal Tribute before, but I'll def keep it in mind. Dust Bowl could be a solid add, but would likely have to replace either a basic or a tapped land. Diabolic Intent is also solid, I have a copy or two on hand.
I hadn't really considered Bootleggers' Stash for this deck AkaAkuma (honestly kinda forgot it existed). Yeah Ouroboroid and Mossborn Hydra are both kinda boom or bust, but are a lot of fun when they do pop off. I do like that Mossborn already has baked in Trample, so turns with extra land drops and recursion can ensure that it's erasing somebody. Ouroboroid is mostly for the go-wide, and is more so a finisher than a value piece.
I can def see the case for something like Living Death. The addition of Vigor was something along the lines of, "I have a copy in my binders, and Idk what other deck I'd realistically play this in". Also, I figured the wonky mana cost would be a bit more manageable since Green is the overwhelmingly dominant color of the deck.

Difficult to say what to cut, you already have a synergetic deck, mazirek does is nice to have, especially if you can also make something like treasures from Bootleggers' Stash.
Ouroboroid or Mossborn Hydra don't do much for your main plan, but if you can get counters on them by Szarel I do see their strengths.
On the other hand I personally always end up cutting Vigor, it's a steep 6 mana for something situational unless you have something like chandras ingnition on hand. A wipe like Living Death could give the same result though, Szarels ability can only resolve after living death put new creatures on board to target. Sac everything with greater good prior to living death and your set.

This looks quite powerful; well done :) Mossborn Hydra would seem like a nice include, as you've got so many opportunities in here for land-drops that it becomes excessively strong incredibly fast. One could consider Tifa Lockhart for similar reasons. Personally, I'd replace Chatterfang with either. You only have a few token generators (5) in this deck with which Chatter can interact, so for most of the time he won't do that much.

Well, finally won a multiplayer game Friday, thus completing my quest to win with each of my commander decks, which began May 3, 2024. Had an early Serra Ascendant. Taunt from the Rampart was the key card. Cast it while Auren had a 16/16 Mossborn Hydra and swung at him for about 9. He untapped and made his land drop before sending his goaded hydra for 32 at Will, who retaliated, dropping Auren to 6. Lauren admitted, he would have swung at me if the hydra wasn't goaded. I was able to get the kill shot on Auren--playing Koma, World-Eater. Mosswort Bridge found a Timeless Witness. I cast it to get back the Taunt from the Rampart. That let me take out Will, playing his new Volrath, the Shapestealer
binder deck, and I had a couple tricks left to kill Jared, playing Naya humans, including a Githzerai Monk.

I've been testing Exemplar of Light for both a card draw function and another creature that could deal with opposing flyers other than Railway Brawler. It seemed to work so far but I'll test out Mossborn Hydra too, thanks for the suggestion

cool deck, maybe switch out Exemplar of Light for Mossborn Hydra as it doesn't really work with the deck
