Saskia's Relentless Assault

Introduction: Welcome to "Saskia's Relentless Assault," a fast and aggressive deck built around the formidable Saskia the Unyielding. This deck aims to strike hard and strike often, delivering punishing blows to your opponents with damage doublers and powerful combat tricks. With Saskia leading the charge, you'll create a relentless assault that your opponents will struggle to withstand.

Looking at Saskia the Unyielding, you can see damage doublers will do a lot of extra work. So, adding cards like Gratuitous Violence, Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight makes a lot of sense. If Saskia alone connects with one of those cards out, she will do 6 damage then another 12 to the named player. Saskia never fights alone. This is a very fast aggro deck (albeit slower than the subsequently released Najeela, the Blade-Blossom). Almost 30 cards removed from the preconstructed Saskia deck, we went away from the token theme in favour of more beatdown. Heavy hitters enhanced by amazing combat tricks like Ready / Willing, Savage Beating and Titanic Ultimatum. I lived the old Shards of Alara standard format dream of that being the card under a hideaway land. Yeah, still devastating today :-). I want to use Master Warcraft with the Sunforger as well, which has a nice package in this deck. Happy Beatdown, gentle reader :-)
