Regal Behemoth

Creature — Dinosaur

Trample (This creature can deal excess combat damage to the player, planeswalker or battle this is attacking if lethal combat damage would be dealt to all blocking creatures.)

When Regal Behemoth enters the battlefield, you become the monarch.

Whenever you tap a land for mana while you're the monarch, add an additional one mana of any colour.

Oct 18 Imoti and the Dino Hippo win. Started by discarding to hand size twice. Jared's Supreme Verdict saved me. I got out Regal Behemoth and untapped with it. I recast Imoti and I think there was another turn cycle before I was able to keep the crown of the monarch  and cast Wild Pair then Keruga, the Macrosage, putting Palinchron into play from my library. By the way, the "nerf" to companions makes this deck better, allowing Keruga to be cast from hand and trigger Wild Pair to get Palinchron onto the battlefield. Generally, as in this case, that produces infinite mana, infinite cascades... Jared refused to concede for a good 10 minutes but I cast and recast Walk the Aeons. Ezuri's Predation generated 24 power and the 16/16 Impervious Greatwurm joined the field. I had more than enough to kill all of my opponents

Angel_Of_Flames - Interesting build! I had not seen most of those mana rocks used in a Gishath deck but those are interesting. Personally, I went more heavy on cards like Cultivate to ramp and help fix my mana colors. That is one of the big cons of msot the mana rocks you are running, they produce colorless dropping the consistency of your deck. I do love the many ways you included to double your mana production though, surprised I did not see Regal Behemoth considering the many ways you could tutor for it and/or cheat it onto the field. WOuld be a good addition!

I would definitely recommend dropping many of the artifacts/enchantments that provide a +1/+1 boost to your creatures in exchange for running some protection. I agree with you that ramping hard to get Gishath early is extremely powerful and in one turn he can rain some big dinos out and suddenly it is a 3v1 game. I have found for me, being able to protect the dinosaurs Gishath throws out is almost just as important as getting Gishath out. Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, etc...you need some of these in your deck to protect against the inevitable board wipe that comes in Commander. At least, that is my opinion.

My bad, I didn't realize you wanted more card draw pre-Sekki. Looking at your list you already have about 13 card draw sources, 9 of which don't appear to be too reliant of Sekki. That's actually a pretty good number, but I you still want more then green has other options:

Harmonize is still great here. It's not a flashy card, but it's straightforward and efficient.

Regal Behemoth could be interesting since it introduces Monarch into the game. It also doubles your mana which helps cast Sekki. I feel like Monarch could advance your game plan both pre and post Sekki. Before hand it's just a card draw source that can get your opponents fighting amongst themselves. Afterwards, if you have a giant Sekki in play, your opponent with the Monarch has to think hard about taking a big hit and giving you card draw, or blocking Sekki and giving you spirits.

Abundance isn't card draw, but it is very good card selection. Lifecrafter's Bestiary is another along those lines.

Sword of Fire and Ice and the new Sword of Forge and Frontier from ONE are also decent card advantage sources. These are nice too since you can equip them to other creatures for early value and then move them onto Sekki for added protection/buffs once it is in play. Though be aware that the latter sword is a non-bo with your green enchantments.

Good luck! I really like this idea you have going here.

So you may want to consider changing the deck format to Modern so that the site doesn't mark it as an invalid deck.

Also, Thrash of Raptors --> Regal Behemoth? I know it says Lizard but the oracle text has changed it to Dinosaur so it's legally playable as one.

Titanoth Rex and Topiary Stomper are also pretty good.

The Ur-Dragon might be a good finisher, though with dragons I suppose anything is a finisher XD

Given the volume of fliers in this deck, it might be worth putting Regal Behemoth in.

Also, Scion of the Ur-Dragon + Moltensteel Dragon + Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon is usually game over for your opponent if Scion is allowed to connect.

With so little ramp I would seriously suggest bumping the land count up to 40.

Card suggestions include Mother of Runes, Beast Whisperer, and Regal Behemoth (who has been errata'd to Dinosaur).

I can't really offer tailored feedback without knowing the weaknesses of the deck. It looks very low on board interaction from the looks of it, so it will likely struggle to stop other decks from advancing their game faster than yours.

No problem! you're right that Leyline is pretty useless now that I think about it. Some other cards to consider might be Battle Mammoth, Vigor, Regal Behemoth, and Apex Devastator. (some of those might be a bit outside your budget). You can decide whether you think that Dawnglade Regent is an upgrade over Archtype. One card to remove might be Impervious Greatwurm. You have several cards to give creatures trample, but if you don't get one then it can literally be stoped cold by a 0/1 plant token. It's a good card for this deck, but there are other creatures that are just strictly better.

Good luck!
