Dragonlord Silumgar, for all the flavor

hey everyone, I was looking for suggestions on some flavorful cards for a hoarding dragon edh deck, I saw Dragonlord Silumgar and instantly thought of a fun commander deck running all sorts of stealing effects, more or less a flavor deck based around a greedy dragon that wants everything he can get his grubby claws on, cards that come to mind are Bribery Acquire Spelljack Blatant Thievery and I know there is alot more out there that I'm utterly clueless on, and that I know the Vothoros out there can help me on!

I don't normally post my decks on other people's pages but it's much quicker than trying to list all my suggestions....
I want all the things! <- Mono blue tho.

Sheoldred, Whispering One and It That Betrays work well together. Dread Slaver, Lazav, Dimir Mastermind, Piracy and Control Magic could all find a home in such a flavourful deck.

Actually, Greendawg81, I don't think anyone should ever use Piracy except to force your opponent to tap out since they can do that in response...making it useless... A better choice would be Drain Power which gets around that issue.

Yeah thats what i use it for, make my opponents tap out in an attempt to avoid removal/counterspells on whatever im casting next. It rarely gets you mana, but it usually does what you would want it to quite well. Plus OP asked for flavourful cards, it wreaks of flavour. If you are just looking for mana, yeah Drain Power is better.

Greendawg81, you are completely right. I forgot about the focus on flavor :P
There's also Steal Artifact and Steal Enchantment
Maybe a little Dominate and Dominating Licid?

guys these cards are awesome!! I'll take alot of them into consideration and start really brewing this week and then post the semi finished product later! also Ritual of the Machine because silly black cards are silly!

I have a Lazav EDH themed around using opponents' resources against them. Some things I've had fun with:
- Geth, Lord of the Vault: Steal even dead things. Seems very Silumgar.
- Notion Thief: Even ideas can be stolen.
- Grave Betrayal: "Your creatures will serve me in death!"
- Wrexial, the Risen Deep: Not even instants and sorceries are safe.
- Decree of Pain: Any good tyrant needs a way to benefit from mass murder.
- Praetor's Grasp: Steal what your opponent would have had.
Other things I've considered:
- Desertion: "Your spell... give it to me!"
- Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni: Helping Silumgar take what he pleases.
- Necromantic Selection: "You may serve me. The rest of you... DIE!"
Also, you want Greed and Hedonist's Trove for the flavor!

Commandeer, Confiscate, Mind Control, Sower of Temptation, Desertion, and Murderous Spoils off the top of my head. There are lots of others too.
