Instant (1)

Creature (1)

Here we have a / Delirium deck. With all the sweet cards that have Delirium or are good in graveyard based strategies that we were given in Eldritch Moon, Delirium definitely has what it takes to be a viable deck in this Standard format.

/ Delirium's main focus is to put cards into their graveyard to turn on Delirium. Delirium is turned on by having 4 different card types in your graveyard. Once Delirium is active, a lot of the cards in our deck that have Delirium only get better.

Grim Flayer: This guy is our choice of creature over playing Sylvan Advocate. Sylvan Advocate is really really good. But in our deck where turning on Delirium is quite easy, turning this guy into a 4/4 Trample before Sylvan Advocate becomes a 4/5 just makes this guy win in combat. You can also use any cards that give even -1/-1 to a 4/5 Sylvan Advocate and Grim Flayer still wins in combat!

Hangarback Walker: Main purpose of this is the fact that it counts as both an Artifact & a Creature. When put into our graveyard, he acts as 2/4 pieces of delirium. So you can almost guarentee that Delirium will be turned on when he enters the graveyard.

Mindwrack Demon: This guy is a huge beater! He also mills cards from our graveyard into our graveyard to try and get Delirium on. Because it's so easy to get 4 different types of cards into our graveyard; we barely ever have to lose 4 life from Mindwrack Demon's effect. He beats any flyer in combat and survives Languish which is a huge plus!

Ishkanah, Grafwidow: Great card from Eldritch Moon! 5 mana for a 3/5 with Reach that brings 3 1/2's with Reach with it practically everytime we cast it! Basically a 6/11 for 5 mana is what we're getting, just spread out. Great against aggro decks whwen we don't have Languish in hand.

Emrakul, the Promised End: The main idea behind the deck! With all the cards that we mill into our graveyard, we have no issues making Emrakul, the Promised End cost only 6 or 7 mana to cast. Works right into the curve and is more than likely to win us the game every time it's casted. We get to take the opponents turn. Get rid of all their removal, swing their creatures into our big creatures to kill them. And if they don't top deck sorcery speed removal; I promise the end is here!

Gather the Pack: For only 2 mana, we are milling 5 cards which is enough to turn on Delirium in a single shot and gets us creatures that we can use to have a board presence.

Liliana, the Last Hope: I didn't originally think she would be that great in this deck. But once I added all the creatures to the deck, I thought to myself "Yeah, she can actually be pretty decent and get back any milled creature whilst trying to get a different card type into our graveyard.

Vessel of Nascency: Comes down on turn 1. We can activate it on turn 2 and it can even get Delirium on it's own. What makes this good for us is that it can grab us any permanent we want. Need Land? Grab one off of this! Can get us a good creatures and even a Planeswalker! Chose to run this over Grapple with the Past (which is very good btw) because it's an Enchantment for Delirium and allows us to have the 7 types of cards in our deck to cast Emrakul on turn 6 or 7.

Grasp of Darkness: Best Instant speed removal spell in the format. Deals with so many big threats like Sylvan Advocate, Gisela, the Broken Blade & Archangel Avacyn  . Also helps as a combat trick because almost all of our creatures have Trample ;)

Languish: We are susceptible to aggro so this is 100% needed.

Ob Nixilis Reignited: Really good when we're at a stabilized board state. He can be used as a removal spell the second he comes out and nets us cards as time progresses and he survives. His Emblem is also an alternate win condition for the deck.

Traverse the Ulvenwald: Early game, it can go get us a Land so we can make our Land drops on time. Late game, once we have Delirium enabled, the main purpose of the card is to go and get Emrakul, the Promised End and cast her the same turn. It's amazing how our main win con can be grabbed for only a single mana!

Whispers of Emrakul: Normally, this slot has been taken by Transgress the Mind, but because we turn Delirium on very early, playing Hymn to Tourach in Standard just seems better doesn't it? I really think so :p

And there you have it! Delirium is actually a thing in this format and is a very fun deck to play! Seeing your opponents reaction when on turn 7, you cast Traverse the Ulvenwald and grab Emrakul, the Promised End and cast it for only 6 mana is priceless! As always, any suggestions will be taken into consideration to help evolve the deck more and any praise/criticism is welcome!

So I know Eldritch Moon Game Day was a few weeks ago. I wsn't on Tapped out for a while...but here I am and proud to say that I won Game Day with this very build!!

I won the last round in Game 3 against Bank CoCo on a mull to 5 thanks to turn 2 Delirium, turn 3 Grim Flayer right into double Whispers of Emrakul with Delirium enabled on turn 4 to empty the opponents hand completely!

I have had really good success from this build. I like it much more then the Ramp version(s). It's a lot faster and Delirium is consistently turned on during the 2nd/3rd turn.

Hope y'all enjoy this deck for the last month of this Standard format!
