Sultai Energy Counters

Standard BUG (Sultai)

Jelly-On-Toast

Sideboard

Trying to get down my own, a little bit cheaper spin on Sultai Energy, I feel like it's still a tier 1 deck. Most of the time, it hits its draws pretty well and is consistent. It's also very fun to play. If you ever build sultai energy this is a little bit of how it's played

Turn 1: Try to get down a Botanical Sanctum or a Forest, and play Attune with Aether

Turn 2: Glint-Sleeve Siphoner is the optimal play, although a Winding Constrictor or Chart a Course is O.K.. Another play is Kitesail Freebooter, always try playing him before other two drops.

Turn 3: Best play is Definitely a Rishkar, Peema Renegade and throw the counters down on your two others. When doing this, try saving some mana (Riskar will give your other creatures the ability to tap for green mana) for a Blosssoming Defense. Rhonas the Indomitable is also a good play, but play your rishkar first.

Turn 4: Holy crap is Bristling Hydra a great play this turn, you should have 4-6 mana to pump him and give him hex proof, freaking crazy. Winding Constrictor probably has to be played this turn to start using the counters to the best of their ability's.

Turn 5: If you Don't have a Verdurous Gearhulk or a Confiscation Coup try utilizing control to win. Fast AND mindrangy.

CARD CHOICES: I didn't include Walking Ballista because of the price, but Consfiscation Coup is a great replacement, especially when playing against gods. Verdurous Gearhulk is a obvious include, if you play him while having a winding constrictor or two It'll be devastating. I decided to play it over The Scarab God in this deck, and I'd do that even if The Scarab god was around the same price as verdurous gearhulk.

A big problem for this deck is the board wipes, Settle the Wreckage, Hour of Promise, Bontu's Last Reckoning, and more. If you play against white and blue, try to keep some counters open. Don't let it REALLY hamper your playing, but always keep a close eye on things. game to definitly board in your negates and spell pierce, and maybe even Aethersphere Harvester.

This deck is great to pilot and i'm almost done building it in real life, just a few more days until I get the cards I ordered. Good Luck if your building this! also, suggestions are welcome.
