Sideboard

Well so i wanted to play zendikar's roil and thought to myself might try to play a great aurora since I will be ramping anyway, then I played 2 aurora and in the end I concluded that about 6-7 is probably more safe vs discard (den protector ftw) and now I have a ridicilious casual deck that maybe will be able to combo out or win a few games.

I took my deck to my local GPT (around 20+ players) and I finished top 4 with it. Since most of the cards are either easily replacable or still standard after rotation I will probably play this deck again in the future.

The workings of the deck are pretty easy:

You ramp alot and then cast the great aurora, that will even if you are behind on permanents clear the board and give you a small window to commit to the board first.

If you are ahead on permanents or mana after resolving an aurora you will probably just win outright by either value or fireballing them to death, with Dromoka making sure that if you have 4 more mana more then you need they won't interact with your fireball (crater's claw).

All creatures are mostly just so you make it there (though sometimes a turn 4 hornet queen just outright wins)

Updates Add

well latest iteration of my The Great Aurora ramp deck.

Basically has less dragons and less focus on maximum value and more creature focus.

The sideboard is also pretty focused giving the deck an actually good matchup vs all the aggro decks since you rock both sweepers and spot removal alongside alot of random lifegain and annoying creatures.

It's basically good vs Abzhan and everything midrange with the other ramp deck being slightly random, though it helps that you have slightly more cards as the great aurora that will usually just win you the game if you resolve them it doesn't help that they are simply a better deck at finding more pieces (sanctum of Ugin)

And a strictly better I Win button in being able to just cast Crater's claws for lethal.
