I'm glad you're not running Mike the Unhallowed. +1

Thank you for your comment, it is much appreciated :) I also didn't think Mikaeus would work particularly well with the deck. Although it brings back creatures straight away after they are sacrificed, they will be toughness 2 rather than 1, and when sacd again will not come back with Shirei :( If i added more tutoring and ways to remove +1/+1 or add -1/-1 it could maybe work :)

Scavenger Drake is awesome have you thought about putting Plagued Rusalka as a kind of removal?

Thank you for you comments. I had never even seen Plagued Rusalka , but that would be a great addition: cheap monetary cost, and cheap mana cost. I have seen Armor Thrull and the +1/+2 counters XD "Oh Armor Thrull , you so silly". If I ran Elixir of Immortality I would consider it a lot more, as I am already having problems with tap abilities slowing down the deck. But thank you again for your comments, I do appreciate them :)

...In that last comment, I meant Thousand-Year Elixir ... Elixir of Immortality doesn't make much sense in that comment, sorry XD It allows creatures like Skirsdag High Priest to go crazy :) And allows Armor Thrull to sac itself on every other player's turns

Killing Wave is amazing with a lot of mana, you can even killing wave for 0 if need be. it is you lose x life or sac for EACH creature you control, all opponents do the same. it is a cheap and easy field wipe you can enjoy and you can keep your commander by paying life.

Wow, i've never seen that card before. #swag. That would make the deck a lot more multiplayer, which is good as i have rarely gotten to play with shirei in recent months. It doesn't perform as well in multiplayer matches as there is too much removal for shirei :( Exsanguinate and Noxious Toad (with new oracle text) are other cards i wanna get for multiplayer. Thank you for your comment :)

Hehe, yeah, would be great one-on-one :D shame about the upkeep thing. I should make a sideboard, cards to switch in and out depending on one-on-one or multiplayer. Thank you for your comment, you've opened up a whole new idea for the deck :)

You ever considered Signal Pest ?

Thank you for your comment :) And no, not really. I occasionally win a game by swinging through for damage, but if I am swinging to win it'll be because they don't have a board presence anyway. Lightning Coils is often the win-con I tutor for. If I swung for damage, all my dudes would get an extra +1/+0 until end of turn, and therefore wouldn't come back with Shirei. I could sac before swinging, but then I'd have nothing to swing with XD The +1/+0 is actually not great with this deck. That said, I still want Skullclamp , mainly to use on tokens.

In my shirei deck i run Fallen Ideal as a sac outlet that works around Meekstone . Beating the hell out of your opponent while they cant attack with any of their muscle creatures. If you wanna look at it http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/charon-the-ferryman-shirei-edh/ Not sure how to mark it as a link but hey theres copy and paste
