Update: Changes —Oct. 3, 2016

Added Nature's Way and Blossoming Defense from the newest set, Kaladesh. Also swapped out Whisperer of the Wilds for Greenweaver Druid, since it guarantees two mana for just one extra to summon.

Have you thought about using rite of passage with roar of challenge or maybe using lure instead of roar of challenge?

Looks like a interesting combo, Rite of Passage and Roar of Challenge- I'll try it out. Lure looks pretty good, but lacks the Indestructible effect, which is sometimes necessary to keep a Main Creature alive.

I also feel that Enlarge, Aspect of Hydra, and or Mortal's Resolve would be fun. Might of Oaks might be better for this deck than Enlarge though. Berserk would be hilarious but a playset is >$100. Insist is a cantrip with a nice effect, allowing you to push out creatures against control decks. Umbral Mantle and Burst of Strength would be great finishers. Predatory Rampage might also be a good alternative to Roar of Challenge. Lastly, you only have basic lands in this deck. Consider adding Llanowar Reborn and/or Oran-Rief, the Vastwood.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention, Nature's Lore is more efficient than Rampant Growth because you're only running one color.

Nature's Lore isn't modern legal unfortunately.

Necromanatee Thank you for the suggestions, Oran-Rief, the Vastwood will be for sure added in the mext update :)

Sorry for the lack of updates everyone, more updates should be up around the time The new set releases.

Until then thank you for all of the suggestions and feedback!

Rhox rocks!

An idea for Blue Rhox: UG has some nice +1/+1 counter theme. Using something around Thrummingbird, Steady Progress,Bioshift, Cloudfin Raptor, Strangleroot Geist, Hardened Scales, Battlegrowth, Bond Beetle, Burst of Strength, ...

Put a bunch of +1/+1 counters on your Rhox, get more counters, attack, win.

Why not run both Spinebiter and Rhox? It would add more consistency to getting your wincon.

Jijim Counters could be fun, I'll try it :)

WarSword007 I usually do run both, actually. Whats shown above is just a basis that can be adapted from, and it's up to you for what you run :)

Thorn Elemental would be a great fit in this deck if you can get the mana quick enough.

SpencerMJ Thorn Elemental is where I got the idea for this deck, it's completely up to you for which you choose. Personally I like Rhox because of the one-mana difference, which allows for it to be put down one turn before Elemental would.

This deck depends on the Rox, which you don't always draw. You might want to play Fauna Shaman.

I find this deck rather slow, despite the land draw. Get rid of Quest for the Gemblades and put in something that speeds up the process of getting Rox into play. I'd probably choose Karametra's Acolyte; or the Greenweaver Druid for a quick 2 mana when needed.

Nice otherwise.
