It's sure fast. But I would suggest an X spell to use all that mana when you can't get your Blightsteel Colossus . Maybe Chimeric Mass ?

Thanks for the comment it hit one of the things i noticed when i did some test runs and ended up with to many mana and no way to spent it. I will add it to maybee bord for now and add it to the final final deck or sidebord when i get enougth feedback. Thanks :)

Your welcome ;)
Building off of what I said earlier, I would go for Orochi Hatchery over chimeric mass. It gives more than a pile of metal could ever give.

Sorry but i will not use this one evan thow i think is a great add i whant achive a pure colorless deck and the simple fact that it produces "green" snakes kills it this time for this deck. Once gain thanks for comment .

I do plan make artifact / color decks latter so i will keep it in mind to when i make a artifact/green and since i plan make it to produce evan more mana than this one and use hydras snakes tokens will be a perfect add :)

June 30, 2014 6:08 p.m.

Okay. Then go for All Is Dust . And maybe Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to fill the giant amount of mana and to get cards for metalworker

June 30, 2014 6:17 p.m.

Here is My Version: Rare Metals copy. I didn't like the Glimmerpost , Cloudpost combo, so I added Ancient Tomb and Cathedral of War to help.

June 30, 2014 6:29 p.m.

I just realized Darksteel Citadel works with Metalworker !

Ok first let me tank you for evan take the time to make a deck based on the one i made to help me. First i will not include Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or the other 2 mythic eldrazy for 2 reason: 1 they are not artifacts, 2 and main reason they are legendary so unless i use Mirror Gallery i can only have one at time in play and evan thow that All Is Dust is not an artifact color destruction is a must so it will go in the sidebord to alternate with Grafdigger's Cage . Second i dont really like Ancient Tomb or any card that gives benefit by taking life and i dont really see any use on Cathedral of War . Third i did like the idea of using Dreamstone Hedron as a digging option so i will sidebord it as well. And last i do plan use Darksteel Citadel in later slower decks (artifact blue/white) but as you point some people dont like locus so i will sidebord it 2 as usable option.

There's no point in having so much indestructible stuff in that deck. You can also make an endless mana supply with Power Artifact

Dami says... #11

First thanks for showing me Power Artifact since i dont know many cards that date back from Mirage block but as i put in the description as a title this is a ''Pure Colorless Deck'' so i will not add any card that is from a colored mana source or has abilties that produce any kind of mana color. About the indestructible cards i have, i don't think 2+1(individual cards) that total 8 cards and ard 13.3% of the deck size is that many cards but again they are only there for a role, so if find cards that do that role better i will remove them.

Huh...cool.

Karn and Voltaic Construct can produced infinite mana with any of the mana rocks that make 3 (Thran Dynamo , Grim Monolith ). Karn animates one of them, tap to make 3 mana, using 2 for Voltaic to untap said mana rock and do it again.

August 10, 2014 5:32 p.m.

Just want to point out some other potential here. The deck is a beast just the way it is but this is fun too. Illustionist's Bracers As long as your Karn, Silver Golem and Mycosynth Lattice are in play at the same time it means that any time you tap something you get to use its effect twice. Also, just pointing out that since Mycosynth Lattice makes everything colorless etc., and Karn, Silver Golem can make anything a creature you could have a lot of fun with planeswalkers in this deck as well. Immagine Liliana Vess coming out on turn two or three because of the mana ramp, then droping Illusionist's Bracers and using her -2. You because of Illusionist's Bracers you get the effect twice. Allowing you to search your deck twice. :D

  • First brokendwarf i will add your suggestion Voltaic Construct right away because evan if you don't combo it with Karn, Silver Golem and Thran Dynamo / Grim Monolith he with just Metalworker can become an infinite mana creature engine and since this deck relies more in his artifacts than in his creatures have some more usefull ones will balance it more. I will add it to maybe for now since i have to decide how i will add hit to the deck and what will i take off for hit.
  • Second DragonbornTebo i like your idea but i have no plan for add a planeswalker or any color in this deck but i keep the idea since i think it may be of use if i ever make a lead(en) deck or evan in a tutoring black deck. So thanks for your comment and suggestion.

I know a lot of players use the 12 post lands over the Urza tron lands. I see them in your maybe board, could be worth a playtest or two. 4x Kuldotha Forgemaster would be a suggestion, over Quicksilver Amulet . Trinisphere is a staple.

August 11, 2014 6:55 p.m.

Dami says... #16

Hi chicagobearz i also like the post (locus lands) mutch more than the urza's lands and i used have the all this 5 lands + Thespian's Stage as a copy support but for some reason the post lands never worked very well for me because they tend to be slow producers in the first 3 turns and turn 3 is where if the game goes normal one of my infinite mana motors starts so locus lose a bit of they use to me. But this is my opinion only and everyone is free to trade then with the urza's and evan add Vesuva for late game mana rain :). About Kuldotha Forgemaster is a very good tutor and i use it in other deck but in this one every card counts so the words sacrifice tree artifacts put him out off the deck. I never used Trinisphere and i'm not sure if i like it or not or how will affect the deck so i will maibe it for now and test it on deck latter and see how it works.

+1 looks awesome. Have you considered Batterskull or Spellskite for burn decks?

September 6, 2014 4:33 p.m.

Dami says... #19

I like Batterskull and Spellskite since I love Mirrodin blocks in general but I will not had them for the following reason: I want this deck remain pure colourless so any card that needs any colour of mana to cast / activate or produce any kind of coloured token is out of my interest for this deck ( this is the reason because I never considered add cards like Batterskull or Orochi Hatchery to this deck ). About Spellskite I did considered it before and I do think is ability can be a life saver at times but other what I referred before since I dont run any colour of mana in this deck so would only left me with the option of have to pay 2 life to activate is ability and since long ago I'm against using pain cards in my decks and I only use Ancient Tomb in this one because it is a great accelerator in early turns otherwise it would also be out of the deck.

September 6, 2014 6:06 p.m.

Seems to be very well thought out, awesome deck

Dami says... #21

Thanks Its_Johnny_Bravo :) I tried my best to draft, test and put it together in the most synergetic way possible, and if this deck can be useful to teach people about some of the combos and interaction of the game or simply making them have a fun time imagine how it works in play I'm already very happy and feel like achieved my objective.

"Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice to make all permanents under you control indestructible"

Also all opponents permanents, if I'm not mistaken :)

Raging_Bull says... #23

Darksteel Forge only makes your permanents indestructible.

Lightning Greaves over Swiftfoot Boots any day, especially in a deck not running cranial plating

September 26, 2014 6:05 p.m.

Dami says... #25

The only reason I use Swiftfoot Boots over Lightning Greaves is that I use Voltaic Construct and Karn, Silver Golem abilities in my own creatures and as they are ''Target'' abilities turns them incompatible with shroud. But Swiftfoot Boots is not a pillar in the deck, so if needed I revert back to Swiftfoot Boots and sometimes I even use Whispersilk Cloak if Im facing a deck that gives me trouble by having fat blockers able to block Blightsteel Colossus
