Izzet Phoenix from modern. Recently swapped the Thing in the Ice   for Young Pyromancer . The sideboard was adjusted for my meta with UWx control, Izzet ensoul, sultai, mono black, mirror variants, and various aggro. It goes from an aggressive midrange to control with the PW package.

Pioneer Double-Up 2-0-1 (Draw / drop for prizes) going 2-0 against Mono Black and 2-0 against Esper Control.

Mono Black Game 1: Fought through Thoughtseize that disrupted my opening hand while on the draw. Young Pyro was left unanswered for a bit so won with the beats and brought birds back for the final swing in turn 10. Game 2: Boarded in Saheeli, Young Servomancer with Young Pyro. Brazen bouncing back sorin and coming back for beats with Saheeli's servo. Poor pyro never lasted long. After many a Thoughtseize and Duress, Royal Scions ultimate for the last 5 damage to the dome.

Esper Control Game 1: Young Pyromancer and Arclight Phoenix beatdown in 6 turns with The Royal Scions pumping my dudes. Game 2: The game was a bit of a control vs control for a bit, graveyard was locked down after birds 3 birds were killed. Fought through that and two Authority of the Consuls on the board. Lucky top deck into the second Brazen Borrower allowed a second bounce of the Scarab God, control spells slowed it down and tapped him out. 10 damage from ultimate of Royal Scions evened out the game and the beats stole it without needing more creatures. Draw and sit back with counters to fight the board wipe.
