perhaps an odd choice considering infect is not typically played defensively, but I like that it can 2-1 things like Dark Confidant or Snapcaster Mage
Ichorclaw Myr the backbone of just about any infect deck. This card puts in work.
Inkmoth Nexus
another reliable win-con. An
Inkmoth Nexus
is all it takes to win games.
Lashwrithe a germ token stands alone on the battlefield. When equiped to an
Inkmoth Nexus
or Phyrexian Crusader it can mean game over.
Liliana of the Veil she doesn't add much to the Infect game plan but is amazing at distortion and removal giving us a more controlling approach.
The Support:
Vampire's Bite
IMO the best pump spell black offers, probably won't use the kicker portion, but it's there if need be.
Dismember This is infect, we don't care about life loss because we play with poison instead. This makes Dismember a 1 mana removal.
Devour in Shadow
in modern this card is sick. The majority of the time the life loss will be 1-2 points. It reads horrible but works awesome. Think of it as an uncapped Smother when played in an Infect deck.
Thoughtseize We need to tear the opponents hand apart. 2 life loss for a hit almost anything 1 mana removal. Hell yea!
