My take on a Jeskai energy deck. So many possible options, need to get some serious playtesting on the deck to see how it pilots but with the few games I have played it seems good, land base is not yet optimal (have to get myself some of the new fast lands Spirebluff Canal and Inspiring Vantage), and I want to toy around with the planeswalkers, quite probably removing the Saheeli's Artistry to replace it with Jace, Unraveler of Secrets or Saheeli Rai herself but I prefer Jace's interaction with Dovin should I get both of them to ultimate, being that I only have one of each the question is of course do I consider running copies of Call the Gatewatch to help pull them out of my deck?

Ultimately the deck is designed to get as much energy going as quickly as possible, Thriving Turtle in to Aether Theorist then turn 3 Aethertorch Renegade, turn 4 tap the Renegade and pay 8 of the 9 energy to deal 6 damage to my opponent before casting either Panharmonicon or Decoction Module and another 2 drop like Reckless Fireweaver before we start bouncing things around turn 5 with Eerie Interlude. Assuming a turn 5 second Aether Theorist with Panharmonicon out the turn before that boosts me to 7 energy, I then cast Interlude bouncing all my guys for 24 energy gained on top of the 7 I already have. Turn 6 if I can get out a Reckless Fireweaver and card:Whirler Virtuouso that's another 6 energy for a total 37, I can now dump 36 of that in to the Virtuoso for twelve 1/1 Thopter tokens which thanks to the Fireweaver and Panharmonicon now hit my opponent for 24 damage.

That's just a straight forward run through but there are so many other options, Harness Lightning killing on point and with energy gain taking care of threats big and small, Disappearing Act I love because often if they've enchanted one of my creatures I'll simply bounce it while countering their spell. Inventors' Fair is run to help me find the Gearhulk which I personally feel in this deck is one of the better hulks, invariably drawing me 3 cards (no-one seems to want to risk taking an average 6 damage) but when I get to bounce him with Eerie Interlude and Panharmonicon out it's hilarious especially when at that point I can usually cast all those cards. Saheeli's Artistry is there as an expensive Saheeli herself since her negative does half of the card but for 3 mana, I want to test it and see how it works especially since I don't yet own Saheeli. If it is terrible in the meantime I'll be giving Jace a turn in the hot seat.

Any suggestions please don't hesitate, I know the deck needs work, it generally takes me 2-3 months to get a deck working just so, my Thalia's GW Humans deck was an exception and has rocked since pretty well day one and while it still well I want to get in to something different too with this brave new world. I'm still considering going full on control as we have some excellent spells available such as Glimmer of Genius, Janjeet Sentry (can't stop loving the energy cards), Revolutionary Rebuff but I'd probably go in to black at that point because Harsh Scrutiny and Lost Legacy are sweet new cards.
