I'd definitely add Shielded Aether Thief, probably replacing Aether Theorist or Minister of Inquiries. It could also kinda work as a defensive combat trick with Fabrication Module. I'd also definitely put in Longtusk Cub instead of one of the 2 drops. Also since you're already going for a Module combo why not add Animation Module and make it near infinite. Imo Rogue Refiner is a must get for every simic energy deck.

Aether Theorist may be good (I am torn between him and Shielded Aether Thief in my Temur list), but I'm not sure about his usefulness here. The more I test the deck, the less I find creatures (aside from Torrential Gearhulk) to be terribly useful. In my Temur list, they essentially serve as chump blockers and additional pressure until I can get a lock on the game. In this list, the additional removal from black seems a bit more efficient than what turns into 1-for-1 creature trades in a lot of matchups.
As for Aethersquall Ancient, I would have to test an alternate list to see if I could find a use for him. Here, he seems slow to me. To compare to Torrential Gearhulk, for example: when Torrential Gearhulk enters the battlefield, I'm pretty much guaranteed 2 energy counters (assuming I have a Dynavolt Tower down, of course) and a cheeky blocker that I can sneak in at the end of their attack step. With good timing, I can shut their deck down with a well-placed counterspell/kill-spell in addition to a beefy body that pops out of nowhere. Aethersquall Ancient provides a pseudo-boardwipe and a consistent/reliable way to generate energy, but it lacks additional utility. I think the card could do some work in a Dynavolt Tower deck for sure, though. Just a different color scheme.
With Displace, what would you move around to slot it in?

If you can make room, Aether Theorist will really help you out. It'll get you 3x energy counters and allow you to scry.

I see a lot of people, even pros, complain that Rally was too complicated, so it's become a legit facet of deck building for me to make a deck complicated. Not always, and its not what I go for, just one of many variables that I consider(To some extent). People just won't see certain lines of play. (Like your EFiend from Kiran).
To me, cub is like a legendary creature almost. (Which means play no more than 3, usually) And having 3 seems to have optimized the number in testing. I can see your logic for wanting 4 though. If they have two 3/3's and you have two, 2/2 cubs, and 2 energy, you're going to feel bad.
Things to replace a 4th cub; Aether-Thief, Aether Theorist, Scrapheap Scrounger, baral, Duskwatch Recruiter Flip, thraben inspecter, greenwheel liberator, hanweir militia captain, hidden herbalist, lambholt pacifist, sylvan advocate, narnam renegade, oviya, selfless spirit, rattlechains, servant of the conduit, skyrider elf, skyship plunderer, thriving turtle, trusty companion, walking ballista, or wharf infilitrator than a 4th cub. :P NOTE: Skyrider Elf or Duskwatch Recruiter Flip is actually pretty good. Potentially a 2 cmc 2/2 Flier, or 5 cmc 5/5 Flier (Aether Hubs) or more utility card draw that works really well with flash- T2 cast, T3 pass, flip, Spell Queller for 2 cmc, hold up bdefense or T4, Avacyn.
I thought of renegade rallier as a way to abuse Miner more, so blinking has a huge effect. It might be better next standard in some Abzan build if we get fetches again. (Fatal push, marsh flats, renegade rallier, renegade map.) It even crews Kiran. But there just wasn't enough pay off to justify it's inclusion.
The bant mana is pretty good with reliable hubs, and attune, but not enough to do 4 colors. (At least not without Servants) And not that worth. I love snek as much as the next person, but this deck has no room for it, or black.
The plays where you're beating down and have flash answers in hand feels great. The fact they don't know what you can have creates some next level mental games, even if you dont have the cards. What if they have EFiend? What if they have Avacyn? What if they have B Defense? Great feeling, indeed.
I can see if the meta does change to be more midrange-y a solid argument for Natural Obsolescence. Or even a split in the side. As your testing and response show- maintaining tempo is essential for this deck to beat a Tier 1 deck.
I can see your desire to want more out of the deck, but mana and the curve is pretty tight and optimized as is. I'm going to try to keep 20 cards in the maybe board at any given time to offer ideas you can test and try.
I assumed the rotation was only going to remove Zendikar. I just looked it up. http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/revisiting-standard-rotation-2016-10-19That's kinda sad. :( I will certainly see if Bant is still good after rotation, but obviously it will depend on what we get. I think Grixis might be silly depending on Nicol Bolas. Control decks are due to be a strong archetype.
Good luck at your GP. Glad you're enjoying the deck and having success with it. I also appreciate you're keeping me up-to-date with your data! I will keep watch of the meta and keep the data exchange going. The deck plays attune and a mere 21 lands, so being flooded shouldn't happen often, at least. I imagine if we DO get Misty Rainforest, it will go right in and further smooth our draws.
How have the negates, expertise, coup, and fumigates been working for you? Get any sweet value T5 with a 4cmc walker? I feel like if you have to play a botanical sanctum T4, you can at least play your untapped land T5, and compensate for not playing the walker the previous turn (at worst). The Pokedex is for control heavy decks that might pop up. I don't imagine it coming in too often, but turning all your low cmc creatures into an uncounterable cantrip will be strong in that match. I think baral's is better on the play vs G/B and fumigate is the 5 drop on the draw vs G/B. Take out the baral's if youre adding fumigate. Or baral's if you want to add coup. The crowded 5-drop slot is why I only play 2 Avy Flip, and the biggest reason why I'm not personally playing coup. Caravan could be alright though. You will be able to crew easily and the extra mana fixing/ramp would be relevant with a grip of 5 drops.

I put a Aether Theorist just so i can always expect my next draw but all in all seems to be a fine deck :)

Thanks for confirming what I've been slowly realizing over the past few days usurphling! I am trying to do too much. You just gotta love Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger for a mill deck though, right? LOL!
Anywho, yeah I think I am going to cut the 2 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, 3 Rise from the Grave, and 1 or both of the Diabolic Tutor. Since Engulf the Shore was already in there, I have 6 slots open. So what do you think about 4 Minister of Inquiries and then 2 other blue creatures or artifacts to get more energy counters, like 2 Glassblower's Puzzleknot, or 2 Thriving Turtle, or 2 Aether Theorist? Also, maybe the 4 Catalog should be replaced with Glimmer of Genius? Glimmer does cost more to cast though. What do you think? Not sure about mono-blue, I like the Fatal Push and Murder, as well as the possibility of siding in some Yahenni's Expertise, but maybe that'll end up being too slow. I'll have to think more on that one.
What did you mean by recasting Manic Scribe? With the Hulk?!

When I built my energy deck, I used Aether Theorist a lot. It doesn't help resist Yahenni's Expertise any, but it's a nice source of energy and also gives you the ability to scry, which was nice in the deck I built.
I've also been seeing a lot of Greenbelt Rampager too. It's a solid defender that can survive Yahenni's Expertise. It's an energy drain, but only two energy and a for a 3/4 that can handle Yahenni is nice in my book!

Architect of the Untamed, Aether Theorist, and Electrostatic Pummeler Would work for gaining energy, and good ways to spend it. I also recommend Fabrication Module and Decoction Module for energy gain and +1/+1 pumps.
