Can play Grim Monolith or Basalt Monolith with Power Artifact for the infinite colourless mana, along with the activated ability of Laquatus or Blue Sun's Zenith it's an instant win :D

I don't have the cards for it, and I generally don't include infinite combos, but I will consider it.

Hedron Crab and probably Jace Beleren.

Lol, you've already got him, nvm.

With all that ramp you could probably overload Cyclonic Rift with no problem.

The ramp hasn't been as efficient as I hoped, but I agree that Cyclonic Rift would be a good addition (all of my copies of it are in other decks, so I missed it). I considered Hedron Crab, and while I don't have a ton of land ramp, it would still probably be more efficient than Tome Scour. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah, the ramp looks like a a lot of dead draws. You probably need more counter/control things in order to not get overrun by aggro.

Grindclock could be an effective "passive" mill option to complement the control package, also is there an overwhelming importance for the ramp? Is the fickle nature of Temple of the False God really worth the 1 extra mana? You're playing High Tide as well, you might just be more consistent playing more islands :)

I think you'll have to see if your anti-aggro cards make it. If they do, the other strategy that could give you a hard time is recursion.
I would add some graveyard hate, a la Relic of Progenitus, Scrabbling Claws, et al..

A card a lot of Tiny Leader mill players forget about is Raven Guild Master. Especially with ways to get it through like Thassa, a ten card swing is pretty massive. And the cards are exiled... that shite ain't comin' back yo.

If you're looking for a way of making Ambassador Laquatus and Meletis Charlatan's abiities easier to use, I recommend Training Grounds.

Also this deck NEEDS inifinite mana combos. I recommend using Basalt Monolith and Rings of Brighthearth, or possibly Rings of Brighthearth with Voltaic Key and Everflowing Chalice.

There are plenty more out there, if you need them as well.

I like Training Grounds, that will definitely make things more efficient for Laquatus. I understand people's points about infinite mana, and if was playing at a really competitive level I would. For casual play, I don't like including these kind of combos, and I have been fairly successful so far without them in my play group.

I second training grounds. 1 mana, 3 mill is too op imo.

Only if it is instant speed and repeatable. ;) I will be getting my hands on one as soon as possible.

Have you considered Hinder + Tunnel Vision , or a similar combo?

March 2, 2015 2:03 a.m.

raefgall says... #16

Tunnel Vision is CMC higher than 3, so it can't be used in Tiny Leaders.

Oh yeah - derp :P

March 2, 2015 10:57 a.m.

Put in Pili-Pala and Grand Architect for infinite mana to activate your tiny leader.

maybe Halimar Depths, Brain Freeze Vision Charm Tome Scour

or since you already have High Tide in there, maybe add Cloud of Faeries and either Intruder Alarm or Retraction Helix with another creature for infinite mana
