Miracle is awesome. Can I get an Amen?!
About the Deck:
So the miracle mechanic is glorious, the following are some ways I've found to make the most of it.
Top-decking cards; through things like Ponder or Noxious Revival. Simple, obvious but effective.
Instant draw; taking the opportunity to draw in your opponents turn for twice the miracle. Use things like Alchemist's Apprentice, Think Twice etc.
Discard, draw; this gives you something to do with the miracle cards in your opening hand. It can be quite synergetic with some of the things mentioned above, you can draw in your opponents turn with Merfolk Looter and discard something that would be too expensive to cast, you can set this up further by discarding the miracles so you can pick which one you need at instant speed with Noxious Revival.
Mana economy, patience and control; For example dont play anything during your own turn so you can wait for your opponent to play something important for you to counter or remove, if they dont, draw into a miracle in their end step in a kind of control play-style. The miracle board wipes also help for the control play-style. I see that many other people are playing a more aggro play-style and thats awesome too :-), good to see that there is so much variety in standard atm.
A note about Scrambleverse . This is probably the most hilarious card in standard. It is also quite useful as there are no miracle cards that are permanent so you are likely to be a little lonely on your side of the battlefield. It messes with peoples game-plans, it provides massive card advantage and did I mention its funny.
The Sideboard:
The sideboard is basically for specialising control cards depending on the opponent.
