This is my Grixis version of the deck 8 rack. It uses cards like The Rack and Shrieking Affliction to cause damage to your opponent when they have little or no cards in hand. Then it has a large amount of discard cards to remove their hand.

To race things up there are Lightning Bolts and Blightning to do additional damage. Lightning Bolt, Damnation, Liliana of the Veil, Terminate and Pyroclasm remove creatures. There is also an interesting combo with Waste Not and Wistful Thinking (the card that makes Waste Not playable in the deck, in my opinion.

1 Tasigur, the Golden Fang, 2 Snapcaster Mages, Creeping Tar Pit and triggered zombies from Waste Not are your creature base if the racks aren't getting you there. They normally win in a race when your opponent is exhausted of resources.

Askiok, Nightmare Weaver is great brought in against creature decks. Vampire Hexmage is also a cheap beater that kills planeswalkers. It also blocks rather well because of first strike.

This is just a far more versatile version of 8-Rack and I think it's versatility makes it quite good in this current meta.
