How about playing combo deck, except it's not at all reliant on just the combo, and you can play a midrange beatdown game, and transition back into combo.


The Goryo Gishath shell I developed but my friends playing it, like the "fossil fuels" quip in the description so they started calling it that.

The gameplan is to get Gishath into the yard and reanimate him to attack, do that damage and then flip 7 cards to fill the board with as many dinos as possible. For a "value" play you can do similar with Nezehal but just focus on keeping her around with her activated ability and beating down with her, and if a Gishath just happens to end up in the yard... oh well. Goryo's Vengeance gives a Legendary creature haste when you reanimate it so it's not a big deal, but Footsteps of the Goryo does not but doesn't care about it being legendary or not. Luckily a good amount of the dinos leave behind a 3/3, and flicker themselves to stay in play or have haste already.
