Dorotheus 5-Color Deckromancer

Hello, I am Dorotheus [Dor-oh-thee-is], or Doro for short. I've always been into card games, and have a rich history in game design experiences. I started playing Magic in 9th Edition, but it took a while to get into a stronger understanding of the game. I'd say that when Return to Ravnica came out was my first real competitive start in the game. The internet has since EXPLODED with MTG and really allowed it to take on new heights, it's made trading, playing, and understanding the game easier and more tangible.

I am a 5-color mage, Johnny and a Combo player above all. I pride through interactions, and ways to chain cards into others. I am more about having the deck built and playing it, more than I am with winning with it. But like anyone else, I do want to win. My understanding of modern and EDH are exceptionally strong, and if there are decks I haven't seen, I want to see them and understand them.

I brew a lot and often, but I do not get to play many of my brews and I look for others to adopt my modern lists if I think the deck is worthy enough.

Gigantosaurus with Primalcrux is probably where the deck is going to end up, Khalni Hydra is outclassed by them. Heroic Intervention is a good SB card but Blossoming Defense or Vines of Vastwood gives the better protection against MB things like Bolt, Push, and Path.
Fracturing Gust also just better than Back to Nature, Creeping Corrosion and similar things, but I get if your meta is heavy in Bogles that Back to Nature would be good.
Great Sable Stag is just all kinds of not good enough anymore, Carnage Tyrant and Gaea's Revenge fit the bill much better.
And yea it's really weird to see less than 4 Garruk Wildspeaker.

Painter is the secondary win-con. I'm more focused on Reanimator, but if my hand says "just do it" then I will. I've had perfect hands that let me Painter combo with the reanimator parts.

If the painted side of the deck is stronger situationally, I have those in SB (i have sets of each if I ever need also), there are 4 cards missing from the SB here right now, could just be more of those, but I'm not really trying to play this deck lately, more people interested in modern.

fastbond_stripmine_crucible, budget. Every time I went to get Badlands from trades, people would flake out of the trade. I gave up, they spiked, spiked, and spiked and then I never tried to get them again. I also need 3 more Reanimate anyway.
