Black is one of my favorite colors in the game. Paired with green I had hoped to build a deck in which I can take advantage of black with its aspect of board control and green pulling in with large creatures and boosts.

Since I am still working on this deck I'm still going through what creatures or spells I can swap out. I believe that I have a decent amount of ramp with my elves but perhaps maybe too much ramp. The other issue that I can see is that Ill face problems when coming against decks heavily invested in flying.

I also feel that there are some creatures I could take out and replace with copies of other creatures even.

My plan is to maintain this deck to be standard legal so with Guilds coming out soon I could see myself updating this for Golgari.

Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I would like to use this deck for a championship at my local LGS this weekend.
