Try 4 for a standard embalm deck. Being an Embalmer I found it necessary. I am stick with Embalm/ Eternalize. I have attempted mixing Embalmer's Tools and the Gate to the God Gift Combo

Play testing, it failed. So, removing the tools and added a few Champion of Wits. We will see how it goes from here.

ALRIGHT, I am removing Fling and adding Lightning Strike, it didn't prove as handy as I hoped.

I am now really enjoying the final draft of this deck. I have found a couple of fun combinations that prove helpful during match ups.

Turn 1: Land

Turn 2: Land and Chart a Course / Earthshaker Khenra / Unsummon / Abrade

Turn 3: Land and Champion of Wits / Unsummon + Abrade

Turn 4: Land and Unsummon + Champion of Wits.

By Turn 6 I possibly could be looking at Anointed Procession + Earthshaker Khenra

It is also super handy having access to Vizier of Many Faces. During the match ups having my own copy of Carnage Tyrant, Hostage Taker, Glorybringer, Torrential Gearhulk, or The Scarab God means I can utilize these nice guys for my deck.

The sideboard is very important too after first match up I always throw the 4x Disallow for facing a Control deck.

2x Authority of the Consuls, Fumigate and Angel of Invention and for Ramunap Red.

2x Solemnity and 3x Gideon's Intervention for Sultai Energy.

After playing a few FNM my greatest weakness were tokens

The tokens were quickly remedied with the addition of my own swarm and wipes (sideboard) Angel of Invention, Sweltering Suns and Fumigate.

I added a Gideon's Intervention cause I had one. It hates Approach and Energy

I am excited to play in my first Grand Prix this Nov. having been a MTG player since 1997. I am going more for the experience than a shot at the prize. This is the deck I will be registering.
