Brewing with Modern: Mono White Aggro

Modern Aggro Budget Competitive Hatebears Mono-White

Hello Budget Brewers! Welcome to another chapter with brewing with modern! This time were looking to see if we can make a competitive build off of a deck built by a friend of mine, and turning into something even better then it started with.

Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit: Anafenza is one of the cards in this deck that is left to itself on the battlefield, can spiral the game out of control for our opponent, anafenza allows us to have consistent +1/+1 counters on our creatures when they hit the board.

Blade Splicer: Blade splicer puts a 3/3 First Strike onto the battlefield, and that can put pressure on our opponent pretty quickly.

Brimaz, King of Oreskos: The biggest creature we play in this deck, Brimaz has a nice synergy with Anafenza, as well as being a 3/4 vigilance for 3 that pops out 1/1s all the time, only playing 3 since we have so many legendary creatures.

Dryad Militant: This aggressive 1 drop is good against decks like storm that like to keep cards in their graveyard, playing 4 for her utility and overall aggressiveness.

Fiend Hunter: Originally Flickerwisp had this slot to bounce Blade Splicer, but since our local meta is almost all aggro decks, my friend and I were thinking that Fiend Hunter might be a better way to go about in this deck, becuase while it's not as aggressive as wisp, it doesn't die to something like Pyroclasm which can be a real problem for this deck.

Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip: My friend had one of these lying around, really any aggro 1 drop would be just fine.

Soldier of the Pantheon: A simple aggressive one drop.

Leonin Arbiter: one of the hatebears styled cards in this deck, arbiter allows us to destroy lands with ghost quarter and path things with no drawback, arbiter is also a good hatecard against deck like shadow zoo that really want to be able to use fetchlands.

Mirran Crusader : a card that makes GB decks shudder, crusader can protect our field and deal 4 damage a turn against a lot of decks in the format at the moment.

Selfless Spirit: A full playset is needed to protect our deck against sweepers and wraths, also a 2/1 flyer can be a great start in the early game.

Spirit of the Labyrinth: a great card against storm and other combo decks.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben: The other hatebears styled card for our deck, Thalia hates on alsmost every deck in the format in some way, and she doesnt really affect our game plan anayway.

Ghost Quarter: We need land hate, and with arbiter we can destroy lands with no drawbacks.

Eiganjo Castle: As i stated before, we play a lot of legendary creatures, and this land allows us to protect them during combat.

Plains: We've got plenty of basics.

Celestial Flare: Since both infect, shadow zoo, and boggles are in our meta, this card is pretty necessary to beat those decks.

Glaring Spotlight: I really hate bogles.

Grafdigger's Cage: solid graveyard hate.

Leyline of Sanctity: We need this if we want to beat burn and combo decks.

Rest in Peace: more graveyard hate.

Stony Silence: Artifact hate.

The maybeboard is full of cards that have either been suggested or i am thinking of testing.

Hello! Just beware that Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Blade Splicer do not have synergy with Anafenza because Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit only triggers on nontokens and Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Blade Splicer both make tokens.

Once suggestion is Knight of the White Orchid. He is pretty good. Other than that, I like your deck!
