This deck has ran past, over, and thru gods AND has beaten a few legacy with banned card decks!(Planes quake)How can we make this better?
I researched the fetchlands in a mono-colored deck using the monte carlo simulator.My arguments for the evolving wilds is that explore combines with wildgrowth walker to overcome the 4 life loss and adds the advantage as more cards are seen quickly and the effect may be seen in the mid-late game.
Went back down to what I have(8th edition). What should I acquire more of?
On my definite list is 2x Jadelight Ranger and 2x Merfolk Branchwalker and I was thinking of uncage the menagerie
1st turn evolving wilds
2nd turn- Wildgrowth Walker OR Shadowed Caravel
3rd turn- Jadelight Ranger OR Wayward Swordtooth OR Rhonas, the Indomitable OR 3 Enter the Unknown
4th turn- Branchwalker OR 2x Enter the Unknown then Ghalta, Primal Hunger.
Little explorers for life and avoid early death. paths of discovery and Tendershoot dryads for mid-late game. cobbled wings to avoid deathtouch or walking gods.
1st STD deck I played in tourney, 1st edition showing at Dragonslayer Games 2/1/0. Lost to Scarab-god and Search for Azcanta 1-2 and I played incorrectly and missed some card text on a couple of his cards as I began drafting in Ix and Rix in January of 2018. Boom and Doom matured from playing nonSTD= a quick red dmg deck AND a white Angel/human life gain,exile, and add counters deck.
Idea started with the walker in early January, then little explorers/paths/ETU, then jadelight, then ghalta, then Rhonas late cuz I was originally trying not to get Kal to Hours because I am thinking longterm STD and I have a budget. Luckily I have a few single earlier Rares that I can trade for with a well attended store to get a couple of things.
