This is sick, have you considered Bannerhide Krushok as another way to combo with Witness (non-inf, thoughbeit). Also maybe use a permanent like Vessel of Nascency as your Ancient Stirrings? I think this is better because A. vessel mills cards to grab with witness, and B. Witness can recur the vessel itself for more digging. Then I think you really want ~3 Tormod's Crypt over relic in your board because you can recur this repeatedly with the Witnesses unlike relic and this is very oppressive for graveyard decks.

Oh yeah I totally forgot they made Naya Ulasht, the Hate Seed! Seems like a bunch of Ulasht staples like Mana Echoes might go pretty nuts in this. Skullclamp and Basilisk Collar also seem obligatory. If you have mana sac outlets like Ashnod's Altar/Phyrexian Altar plus your Ivy Lane/Blade of the Bloodchief this is a simple way of infing out, Ashnod's Altar seems especially good here since you net mana and Marath can already target players, if you have a counter doubler or mana filter it's an instant kill. One thing Ulasht has on Marath though is the ability to employ the all powerful Utopia Mycon :) Also Kamahl, Fist of Krosa animate all their lands and snipe them with Marath/Goblin Sharpshooter is pretty funny

Crazy looking tortex build, I really like how you top out with stuff like Thoughtpicker Witch to lantern lock the opponent. If you were to update this you might consider some newer stuff like the LOTR landcyclers and Accursed Marauder. Build looks jank at first but actually I think it's really solid. +1 from me, I love tortex and sweet toolbox decks and this is both!

4 Maindeck Raze is so mean, I love it. I only wonder if there is some tensions between the land sac needed for Raze plus Fireblast and Lava Dart as well? Maybe it's fine idk. I also think you have potential better options for the Electrickery slot such as End the Festivities, Cast into the Fire, or Barrage of Boulders!

The rules for protection include "Can't be dealt damage" by the thing you have protection from, so no damage will be dealt to your slivers and Repercussion will not trigger from those creatures. Any kind of damage prevention effect will give this result. If your slivers only had indestructible for example they would still receive the damage and trigger Repercussion. In your scenario you'll only take 4 from the Earthquake directly.

Any chance we can get the pre-fire and 2015 modern formats added here? Seems like they are beginning to pick up steam and I've seen other users with pre-fire lists posted here as well as myself! I'd be happy to write out a list of block codes and banlist for each format if that makes the job easier!

Looks like it's coming together well! I was thinking about this deck earlier, I was wondering if Contamination might work somehow to provide another lock. Maybe paired with another enchantment that can make dudes such as Squirrel Nest? I would also try to go up on Enchantress's Presence that card is gas for you and maybe some Wild Growth/Fertile Ground to round it out?

EDIT - isn't contamination already just really sweet with Umbilicus for the same reasons as solitary? lol

Great to see some Prefire! I just put my old Modern deck up as a Prefire deck as well :) I might suggest they add it to the formats here! Anyways looks like a great storm build, like a mix of twiddle storm and classic gifts storm. Looks miserable to sit across from :P

Yes that is correct, in fact it gets better because Death's Shadow's characteristic defining ability will amend its p/t as you pay the life so generally it will not die to Toxic Deluge even if you already had your shadow in play.

Love it Balaam! Very elegant way of extirpating basics that fits nicely in a jund-y shell. Might I recommend Toxic Deluge, both for your shadow and for possibly MLDing the opponent when you're ahead on board?
