My current primary deck. Black and white with vampire theme relying on constantly dealing small increments of damage, as well as increasing your own life. Potential to cause massive damage and lifegain with the right cards out. Might not be the most competitive against tournament level decks, but it does do very well against my friends assuming I dont get bad draws.

Vampire of the Dire Moon and Gifted Aetherborn for blockers, with Nighthawk Scavenger and Bloodthirsty Aerialist for attacking. Other creatures primarily for their passive abilities. Main mechanic centered around below outlined combos. If playing multiplayer, switch out Blood Tribute, Death Grasp, one Drana's Emissary with Debt to the Deathless, Blood Tithe and one Cliffhaven Vampire. Exsanguinate may be switched with Debt to the Deathless if you feel the mana cost efficiency would work better for you. Chalice of Life/Death was used in my deck for awhile (and was pretty effective), but I feel since this deck's primary purpose isnt to gain as much life as possible, there might be more effective cards for this deck. You might feel differently.

Need help figuring out what this deck is missing. It does poorly against a very aggressive attacking playstyle with heavy hitters or decks with a lot of counters. Perhaps I simply need to change how I play, or I need to change the ratio between my cards' duplicates. Or I just need to accept that this deck will have some weaknesses and won't be able to deal with any and every scenario, but to that I say nonsense. I must perfect this deck.

Some game ending combos:

  1. In a multi-player match, have Vito out, then slap down Debt to the Deathless and pay just 3 mana for the X cost. Each opponent will lose 6 life (and you gaining all total life lost) with Vito causing a targeted opponent to lose an additional __ life, depending on how much life you gained. Follow up with some buffed Nighthawk Scavenger attacks on a different opponent, which will gain more life for you, triggering Vito again. Target a third opponent for Vito's ability (assuming the second lost due to Nighthawk Scavenger) and potentially take them out as well. Add an Indulging Patrician or two if you can for even more carnage at the beginning of your end step to finish off anyone just barely hanging on. Blood Tithe could also be used instead of Debt to the Deathless, though with less of an effect.

  2. In a one-on-one match, all you need is Vito out when you put down Blood Tribute, then kick Vito to essentially drain all your opponent's life in one turn, regardless of how much they have at the time. Though your opponent would need to have an even amount of life for this to be a one shot kill. Death Grasp could also be used instead of Blood Tribute, but may have less of an effect depending on mana used.

  3. Another one-on-one (this even works well in multi) combo that a lot of people are familiar with by now is Vito/Exquisite Blood. It isnt included in the main deck because its very expensive for a single card and it isnt essential due to the other combos. If you can afford it, this will make a great addition to the deck as having another win condition can never be a bad thing. Having both down will trigger an infinite damage combo as soon as you gain any amount of life or cause any amount of damage to target player. If in multi-player, when one opponent goes down, simply switch Vito's target.

  4. A more steady over time damage combo would be having Drana's Emissary, Cliffhaven Vampire, Vito, and Ill-Gotten Inheritance out, which means every turn on your upkeep, automatically, you're gaining 2 life and all untargeted opponents lose 4 life, and one targeted opponent loses 6. By the time you have all these cards out, assuming none are removed, you could take out your opponents in two to four turns without even doing anything. Be sure to keep attacking to finish off your opponent even quicker and ensure maximum damage in case either of these 4 cards are removed early.
