Turns

T1

Sakura-Tribe Scout or Llanowar Elves - Best T1 play. A chump blocker that lets you ramp. If this comes out T1 then you can start the main combo T2.

T2

Turn two is a normally a dead turn if you didn't get either Sakura-Tribe Scout or Llanowar Elves on T1.

If you have the 3 mana:

Generous Patron - Getting this out T2 is optimal for our game plan but may leave yourself open for removal. I normally go for it regardless.

Only 2 mana:

Eladamri's Call - Best T2 play assuming you don't have Generous Patron in hand.

Together Forever - Unlikely to happen due to the mana cost, this card just saves Generous Patron from being killed as soon as it comes out if you can get a +1/+1. on it.

Travel Preparations - Don't play this until Generous Patron is out.

T3

If Generous Patron is not on the board:

Generous Patron - Get this out asap. Once out every other spell in the deck can be played for maximum effect.

If Generous Patron is on the board:

Together Forever - Put one on Generous Patron and the other on whatever your teammate has. One draw and you stop Generous Patron from dying (not being exiled though) as long as you have 1 free mana. Any free mana play a T1 spell as long as you keep 1 mana free at all times.

T4+

Travel Preparations - Give +2 card advantage, and can be flashbacked. Hopefully gain some lands to be used with Sakura-Tribe Scout .

Lead by Example - Same as Travel Preparations just without flashback and is an instant. This means it can be cast in the combat phase for a surprise beefy block/kill.

Collective Effort - A great multi-use card. Remove an enchantment, blow up a threat or pump-a-rump all of someones creatures.

Sigarda, Host of Herons / Carnage Tyrant - Just some solid late game beaters. Hexproof to help vs removal, and the both have some sort of evasion. Pump them and go for the kill.

Revisions

Added Scrylands since Merfolk Branchwalker was removed.

Tentatively replaced Merfolk Branchwalker with Deadly Recluse . The deck lacks answers to flying. Merfolk Branchwalker is a better creature for the deck, but much easier for opponents to ignore.

Removed Forced Adaption replaced with Eladamri's Call .

Removed the splash of Blue.

Removed Sedge Scorpion for Sakura-Tribe Scout . Having the extra land every turn is too strong and lets us continue to spam spells without having to discard.

Removed Seedcradle Witch for Sedge Scorpion . Seedcradle Witch fits with the theme better, but you never have the mana to buff and the buff doesn't trigger Generous Patron anyway.

A Multiplayer / 2HG deck aimed at pumping teammate's creatures full of +1/+1 counters. Deck revolves around Generous Patron , give out +1/+1 counters to a teammate to get card draw.

The Good:

• Gives out a crazy amount of +1/+1 counters to target player(s).
• Very high card draw.
• Once the combo starts it ramps the combo every turn.
• Completely shuts down creatures with Undying.
• Being a bro.

The Bad:

• Reliant on Generous Patron almost entirely.
• Requires teammate to have creatures.
• Can be slow if dealt a bad hand.
• Susceptible to aggro decks.
• Susceptible to removal in the early game (before Together Forever is out).

Can always support opponent creatures if you add cards like Retribution of the Meek , Dusk and Citywide Bust . Will need to adjust the Mana to include more

The sideboard is just filled with changes needed for the 1v1 duel.

Switch out Relief Captain for Retribution of the Meek

Switch out Forced Adaptation for Citywide Bust

Switch out 4x Forest for Plains
