Hello all! After a long hiatus, I am back to making fun but somewhat effective decks to play. After getting mightily unlucky in my March of the Machines prerelease, the only card I pulled that I looked forward to was Etali, Primal Conqueror  . It’s honestly one of the best times I’ve had playing Magic in a while, and I knew my next deck was going to be built around it. There’s a really sweet combo with Jaxis, the Troublemaker. Copy Etali with Jaxis’s ability to get free spells and more card advantage. The rest is truly built as a normal Gruul Midrange deck, except I wanted some big cards to hit of Etali, so I put in Embercleave and Titan of Industry.

If you want, the port to Standard is fairly easy. Take everything out non-Standard legal and just sub in the cards in the maybeboard of the deck.
