Enchantment (2)

Instant (3)

Hello welcome traveler, do you seek to absolutely demolish opponents using big creatures? Are you fond of shenanigans? Do you like tearing apart mana bases and decks alike? Well do I have something for you!

This mono red Lukka Ponza deck is a strategy revolved around Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast and his -2 ability in order to exile a target creature we control to than slap the oppenetns face with a turn 3 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn But how do we get to that point, well let me explain.

Since this is modern and modern is a fast format of course we need the right people for the job, so we call on the help of Planebound Accomplice to get Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast out fast so we could than use his -2 ability on the creature to whip out Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
But modern is a fast format so playing Planebound Accomplice on turn 3 is too slow, well don't think I didn't think about that because that's where our rituals come into play such as Desperate Ritual and Pyretic Ritual as we can use these cards on turn 2 to play our accomplice than on turn 3 we go get emmy, alternitivly if we possess multiple rituals we can float 4 to than play the accomplice, play Lukka and get emmy ON TURN 2!
However, I understand that we won't always get Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast or Planebound Accomplice in our opening hand, but that is ok because we got cards to help us get there. Cards such as Seasoned Pyromancer help us get sift through our deck while providing chump blockers which can help buy us some time or get in a few licks. We also use Thrill of Possibility to also do the same just without the blockers and at a lower cost espically if we have Emrakul as it will just shuffle back into our library which is what we want.
Lastly we reach the important part, as this is a 'mid range' deck we have to run disruption in order to prevent the opponents from completly running over us such as Tron, but don't worry as our saviors Magus of the Moon,Blood Moon and Pillage are all here which we can all play on turn 2 using our previously mentioned rituals in order to set our enemies back on their mana bases
As for the rest of the cards they do maintain their own purposes which can help as this is a continuation of the last section as we also pack cards such as Scavenger Grounds for some graveyard hate, Lightning Bolt and Bonecrusher Giant for instant speed spot removal as well as occasional damage to the face.
