Lantern Control is a control deck that operates by prohibiting opponent's creatures from attacking with Ensnaring Bridge while simultaneously controlling the drawstep of you and your opponent with Lantern of Insight, Codex Shredder and Ghoulcaller's Bell . By being able to control each player's drawstep effectively you can prevent your opponent from drawing anything useful to them, effectively controlling the game. The deck's win condition is to mill the opponent!

Lantern Control Lock

I have updated the deck to include two new Aether Revolt cards - Spire of Industry and Whir of Invention.

Spire allows the deck to create rainbow mana, thus improving it's ability to play spells from any colour included.

Whir is an instant speed tutor for the deck. It's one of two tutors, playing alongside Infernal Tutor. Tutors help the deck find combo pieces or anything needed to further control the game and thus the addition of Whir is very welcomed by my Lantern Brew!

This deck is able to operate efficiently because of the tutors mentioned above and a few other search cards. These other search cards are Glint-Nest Crane, Ancient Stirrings and Inventors' Fair .

Ancient Stirrings allows the deck to play only 18 mana effectively. Also, it's very useful in finding other things like Ensnaring Bridge and Lantern of Insight in games where you don't have them in your opening hand.
