Try playtesting this deck. You'll find that if you draw reasonably well you can play Liliana Vess and get her to 8 loyalty, then Traumatize, dumping half the opponent's deck in the bin, and then use Lili's ultimate to bring all the creatures that got traumatized under your control by the fifth-seventh turn,. If liliana lives through it, do it again after the graveyards start to fill with the corpses of all those critters that died in the ensuing war. Alternate win con is using Traumatize/Jace's ultimate to mill the crap out of the opponent.
This is totally just experimental, but I think the idea has potential. Liliana and Jace are the only planeswalkers I really have any experience with, but I'm interested to hear other's thoughts on planeswalker proliferate combos. Blue provides real momentum behind this plan with Steady Progress, Thrummingbird, and Distortion Strike, but even the simple proliferation acceleration of a couple of palladium myr paired with Contagion Clasp or Throne of Geth is impressive. Contagion Engine is a bit too expensive but ultimately gives you more proliferate bang for your buck, and could be considered with the better mana acceleration of green.
What are your thoughts!? Score it up if you like it or want more discussion on the subject!
Edit 11/2: I created an aternative ecklist for those sticky situations where the opponent has a very creature light deck. its called Liliana rolls up with Eldrizzles wide, check it out!
Edit 11/9: Just stumbled across
Archmage Ascension
and realized the potential here with the high draw and proliferation. If anyone has ideas around this, please let me know! I am wondering if this deck ought to be reshaped around the concept, but keep the milling/reanimation idea, or if this idea just deserves a new deck entirely. Opinions?
