Let's Try it with Counter Spells - Khans of Tarkir (Standard MTG Deck)

I only need 2-3 guys on the board to win. I might as well make them solid guys and then build the rest of my cards around helping them survive and do their thing. Blue to keep them safe and red to delete their enemies. Both can help me gain card advantage.

Temur Charm gives me a counter spell that is actually easier for this deck to cast than Cancel. It also allows Heir of the Wilds to slay a Courser of Kruphix and allows Savage Knuckleblade to punch a Siege Rhino in the face like a boss. The ignore weenie blockers thing could be handy, but it's not why I'm using the card.
