I've always had a fascination with equipment cards so I decided to try make a deck that centered around equipment. I've chose mainly humans as they have the most synergy with equipment cards. The point of the deck is simple. Attach an equipment to one of your creatures and swing away! Any help would be appreciated in making this deck better.

Humans

These guys are the main creatures in this deck.

Augur il-Vec - This seems like an unimpressive two drop as it's only 1/3. However with it's shadow ability, it can be deadly if left alone. Simply attach 1 of the swords and rake in the rewards as it is virtually unblockable. Attach Silverblade Paladin to double your rewards!

Champion of the Parish - You can't have a human deck without including this guy. He needs to be dealt with early on as he has the potential to get really big.

Danitha Capashen, Paragon - Casting equipment cards are expensive! With this card, it makes casting equipment cards a little easier.

Mirran Crusader - The protection and the double strike are awesome. With Sword of Fire and Ice, he is pro everything except for white and I draw two cards while also dealing an automatic 4 damage. With Sword of War and Peace, he is pro everything except for blue. I also deal and gain life based on cards in hand.

Puresteel Paladin - The main card in this deck. The main draw from him is his ability to instantly equip any equipment to any creature. This spends up the process as attaching typically cost a lot of mana.

Silverblade Paladin - Mr. Doublestrike here likes partnering up with fellow creatures. He can obviously attach to anyone but he works best with the shadow creatures.

Thalia's Lieutenant - Boost other humans on entry and they boost him with they enter. Its a win-win situation.

Thraben Doomsayer - His main appeal is the ability to generate a human token. If Puresteel Paladin is on the field as well, I can instantly attach any equipment to the token at no cost.

The Other Guys

Not every creature in this deck is human though. These cards add a different wrinkle to the deck.

Batterskull - While this is an equipment card, it'll be mainly be used as a creature. 4/4 with lifelink and vigilance is a headache to deal with.

Etched Champion - Protection from all colors makes him a hassle to deal with. Basically only colorless spells or making me sacrifice him is the only way to get rid of him once he has protection.

Soltari Priest - My other shadow creature but this card is also pro red so even better.

Wurmcoil Engine - This is a favorite card of mine. Even when it dies, it makes two more troublesome tokens that must be dealt with.

Weapons

The reason why this deck was created to begin with.

Basilisk Collar - Attach this to instantly kill off one of your opponent's creatures while gaining you life as well. Works best with human tokens generated by Thraben Doomsayer.

Deathrender - Talk about annoying. Kill the creature attached with this equipment and I put another creature out with this attached.

Godsend - The exile mechanic is frustrating to deal with if my opponent runs multiples of a card. It limits their board or forces them to eat damage.

Helm of the Host - Copy Maker 3000. The two cards that stand the most benefit with this card is Wurmcoil Engine and Etched Champion. One Wurmcoil is horrible enough. Now add a copy of it and you now have a problem. Putting it on Etched means you have a team of pro everything to force your opponent to deal with.

Magebane Armor - Prevents non combat damage so I don't have to worry about kills spells. Plus makes one of my chumps bigger.

The Swords are self explanatory and don't need much discussion. I want all of them is this deck because it's just fun.

Saviors

Obviously my opponent is going to try to kill off my cards. These cards ensure I can still keep them around at least for one more turn.

Brave the Elements - This card covers nearly all my creatures from mass wipe. Only my artifact creatures are not included but that is fine. Wurmcoil Engine will just split into two, Etched Champion should have protection already, and Batterskull can just reattach to someone else.

Emerge Unscathed - Great protection for a single creature. With its rebound ability, I can cast it again next turn for easy damage or just for protection.

Faith's Shield - In case my opponent tries to get rid of one of my artifacts, I have this card handy.

Helpers

These cards speed up the process.

Sigarda's Aid - Playing equipment on my opponent's turn and having it attached to one of my creatures all for one mana!

Steelshaper's Gift - When I'm in need of a specific equipment card, I use this card. Makes life easier for me.

Sideboard

Sometimes I need to change things up.

Brave the Elements and Emerge Unscathed - I'll main board these if my opponent likes clearing my board.

Faith's Shield - Main board if there is a lot of artifact destruction.

Gather the Townsfolk - Main board if I feel like I don't have enough creatures.

Imposing Sovereign - For those creature heavy aggro decks.

Ironclad Slayer - For decks that like clearing my equipment.

Loxodon Warhammer - Maybe my opponents like playing tokens. Well that is where this card comes into play. The life gain is nice as well.

Soldier of the Pantheon - Quick life gain and for use against multicolored decks.

Steelshaper's Gift - In case I'm having trouble finding the right equipment.

White Knight - For black decks.

Suggestions

Updates Add

1xLoxodon Warhammer - While good, not much use as I would rather put other artifacts on to the field. Moved to sideboard.

1xHerald of War - Not enough synergy so I cut it from the deck. Putting into the maybe section.

4x Flagstones of Trokair - Wasn't much use as its main function was deck shuffling. Slides into maybe section.

Added in:

4x Plains - To replace the other lands.

1xBrave the Elements and 1x Emerge Unscathed - More protection as the deck was liable to removal
